Brinna Ream and Joe Nicholas are from Carthage, not Neosho.

The two best soloists are from Carthage, but Brinna Ream's solo was from Carthage Suite Sounds, not Soundwave. I've asked a friend from Soundwave and checked social media to confirm.

It would be interesting to see who had the top six scores of the day across all the divisions

1. Neosho
2. Carthage
3 Joplin
4. Nevada
5. Marquette
6. Smith cotton

People really need to stop screaming as soon as an award is being announced. You can't hear some of the awards because of this. Things get very confusing, trophies handed to the wrong people. From what I could make out, these are the caption awards.

Best Vocals: Carthage Soundwave
Best Choreography: Neosho Choraliers
Best Costumes: Nevada Soundsational Singers
Best Opener: Hollister City Lights
Best Ballad: Marquette Center Stage
Best Closer: Neosho Choraliers

I could not hear who made Best Male and Female Soloist so I will look into it.

I don't think Smith Cotton Sound Effects could make it, probably due to weather. Awards are starting soon.

Just looking at the comments, I find it funny that you guys from Wisconsin are this interested in a competition down here in southwest Missouri. Like, are we really that big of a deal?

I mean, ALL show choir is a big deal. But in all seriousness, I'd say Missouri is pretty underrepresented on here in comparison to other show choir states. We'd love to have more Missouri folks around, but in the meantime I suppose it'll be Wisco folks filling that void.

From a Wisco kid, it’s really just about gaining more of an overall awareness for the community. I may see the same 5-7 groups throughout the season but I can make connections to countless more... and I’m a “doer” kind of person, so I try to make things happen.

I try to spread the word about this website, but I'm still the only super active person from my school unfortunately. Even my director rarely uses this. Some people from my groups probably don't even know that this website exists. When I talk to my friends about it, they just take it that I'm too obsessive about show choir.

You have no idea how much this made me laugh for some reason.

I was thinking of students when I said I'm the only one. Sorry, I should have made that more clear. : P

It looks like your choirs are missing group photos - we could use your input more often!
