Stopped by to take a picture of the sign hanging off of the U.S. Cellular Center. It's probably at least 15 feet tall and hanging 3-4 stories in the air. I can't wait to see a competition in an arena that held a rock concert last weekend.

I am so excited to announce that the Kennedy Raise The Roof Show Choir Invitational is moving! Not dates...just location! Beginning with this year's event, the students, parents, and staff of Kennedy High School will produce Raise the Roof at the US Cellular Center located in downtown Cedar Rapids. We hope you can join us at the US Cellular Center on 2/29/20 for an event where we have truly raised the roof! With professional sound and lights, three loading docks for groups to load and unload, ample equipment storage, an incredible seat for every student, parent, and fan, and a rock concert atmosphere, Raise the Roof will be the place to be on Leap Day 2020!
We have an incredible lineup of competing groups from Cedar Rapids Washington, Cedar Rapids Jefferson, Ankeny Centennial, Urbandale, Totino Grace, Sioux Falls Roosevelt, and Waukee. I can't even tell you how excited we are!!

Having been to the US Cellular Center COUNTLESS times, including wonderful graduation memories for all of my family, I am so intrigued by this change. I can’t wait to see how it all plays out! And dang, what a bloodbath!
Man it is not even 2020 but, this competion is starting to look really fun. Groups Like Ankeny Centennial, Sioux Falls Roosevelt, GCS (maybe), and maybe more :0 on the way. This is going to be such a fun competion once 2020 rolls around.
