I actually did think your predictions were right Jay... Not really a hard one to call though... get a grip

Ross Rhythm and Motion got 3rd runner up in festival class, they forgot to announce it at the awards.

Streaming - we had a delay getting it started because of a miscommunication with videographer and then about an hour later the video conversion box failed. Sigh.

The places going into finals were exactly how they ended up placing. If I remember right, CG was ahead of WC by 11 points and WC was ahead of Edgewood by 50 something. I'm not surprised CG got the visuals. haha

I'm so proud of ol' C-Unit! They've had a rough couple years, but are back in action now!

I thought going into the night show that the winner was going to be a toss-up. I was told that there was a substantial difference between 2nd and 3rd. Going into night show, I had the following:

GC: Warren Central
1RU: Center Grove
2RU: Edgewood
3RU: Noblesville
4RU: Kokomo

Vocals: Warren Central
Visuals: Center Grove

I felt more drawn to Warren Central's show because they performed it so well. You can tell that it was coming from the heart and they weren't just performing it. They were living it. Center Grove amazed me once again with their massive amounts of props and color. I thought Noblesville deserved 4th because their vocal quality was stronger. I think Kokomo had great vocals but their numbers hurt them. If they had ten more performers out on the floor like the other choirs that were in the night show, they would have been just as competitive. I will say that I thought Kokomo's choreography was fun to watch and made it very entertaining.

We will have a live webcast of one of the two venues tomorrow for the entire day. Our auditorium venue will start broadcast with the concert choirs at 9am and will continue through prelims and for all finals that evening, ending with Central Sound's exhibition performance and the awards ceremony.

You can find the link from the main page of our event's website (http://lcclassic.com) OR go directly to the ustream site:

HERE

I'm curious to see how the school's restricted Internet connection performs for this use. We worked hard today to see if we could get this to happen. I'm disappointed we could not get a feed from the second venue, but maybe next year?

And, of course, please come see us in person tomorrow.

I would say that is about right. Still trying to figure out if North Oldham is a group that has been around for a while or a new group on the map.

Is it possible this group from Kentucky is the dark-horse and makes finals?

Does anyone know anything about North Oldham?

I haven't heard of them. Amazing that they are in the mixed competitive and I haven't heard anything about them.

I know they are from Kentucky...that is it.
