They'll be back. The boys are just not wanting to dance for some reason. They make an amazing concert choir though... for now.

Tis different than the one I did with Hanover:
Fabulous Places
Kokomo
Paris Medley
Vienna
NYC medley

But tis a very brave choice to do Vienna so soon after. Can't wait to hear!

That NYC medley was SUPER cool. And one of the last for Sound FX, right? Where are the mixed groups going....

I agree on the scoring, the tapes can seem very different from the scores sometimes... it seems they intentionally score very low on average, IMO.

And Ryan, I think Atlee Illusion did an Around the World theme, including "Vienna"....

Since I have yet to be at a competition either, I'll just tell you what dale is doing since my brother is still in it.

Everything Old is New Again
Singin' In the Rain/Umbrella
All Shook Up
When I Hear Music
Sing Sing Sing

That's as much as I can help you out with, Ryan.

I believe the last song is actually "It Don't Mean A Thing", although it does use the "Sing x3" melody as an intro.

Oy, until we see the composites, we never know how close those scores were or even what each judge individually scored. I wish VA would would just hand them out in the packet with the judges comment sheets/tapes. Tis a nice way to clarify their personal thinkins...

Can anyone post what songs people are doing? I hate not being at the first couple competitions... A Show Choir nerd needs to be there who, sad to admit, knows all the songs and can remember every second lol

Anyone know the B Division results for Friday Night?

Also missing Best Band from Saturday, and People's Choice from Saturday.

There were no separate best male/female soloist awards. There was just one overall.

Congratulations to everyone (: I wish I could have seen more groups perform! I only managed to catch Amherst and Cosby.
This weekend was so much fun! Manchester, you did a fantastic job hosting. Thank you very much (:

I don't think there was a best female soloist and I think it was Cosby that got Best Show Design! Great day of competition and congrats to all the groups!
