Sound Sensations is probably the best women's group I've ever seen live. They beat a bunch of varsity groups including Bloomington Kennedy when I saw them perform at FAME Chicago in 2008. I wouldn't be surprised if they placed very high here!

Great times at FAME Waukegan!

Yes the schedule has been changed due to the addition of Blooming Jefferson and some other issues that have arised. We are working the details out and a new schedule will be posted shortly.

Grand River is proud to have Broadway Star and Emmy Winner Liz Callaway back as our Guest Artist this year Friday evening March 18th, 2011 at 7:00pm! Student tickets are only $10.00 which includes the concert plus a dance/karaoke after.

will the Schedule change because of more show choirs been added??

Sound Sensations are performing as a Prep/Single-Gender Group. Any group can make finals.

I guess you didn't hear that they had an opportunity to perform in China so they couldn't come to Grand River anymore.

Rice Lake and Burlington have registered for the prep division. All groups before lunch are in the prep/Single-Gender division. All groups performing during the day, no matter their division, can make finals.

My mistake, thanks for clarifying.

Which of these are the Prep/Single Gender and the Large Mixed? I am assuming everything before lunch is Prep/Single Gender but I am not sure.

From the looks of it, Rice Lake and Burlington are both advanced mixed groups. Anything else before lunch is prep/single gender, and everything after is advanced mixed.

Even though some of you guys are a little disappointed that Powerhouse isn't going, I think all of you will be relatively surprised that Sound Sensations is made up of many girls that have a lot of talent and most will be in PH next year anyway. So its still a great taste of Burroughs High, and its actually kind of nice to know that we will have some Burroughs lovers actually paying attention to another side of us
