i feel that what they did was a very smart way to mask having a smaller group. in a good way i mean. it was very very clever in my opinion and i quite enjoyed their show.

On a side note, at this point we have received verbal confirmation that Mt. Zion Swingsations, Enterprise Starship, Brea Olinda Masquerade & Brea Olinda Spellbound will accept the invitation to compete at the Show Choir National Championships on April 30th in Indianapolis!

That's fantastic!

DVDs can be purchased at www.showchoirs.org. Click on the Tickets/Store and you'll be able to order which DVD you want. We're still working on a gallery to post photos for sell. Congrats to all that competed!

Does anyone happen to know where to find the pictures and video they took at the competition? It should be on sale somewhere, correct? I can't find it...

did anyone else feel that Enterprise was more solos and not a show choir?...they carried around mics the whole time and barely had more than 6 or 7 (however many mics there were) people singing. They sounded AMAZING and wernt breaking any rules...ive just never seen that in a show choir show.

I've seen choirs do that before. And like you said, it's not breaking any rules, so IDK why you are complaining. If they are good enough to get 2nd then I don't really think there needs to be any discussion. There are no rules as to what kind of show must be performed. If there were show choir would be REAL boring.

I think its the choir that represents what FAME is about, like a sportsmanship award... but I could be wrong.

It always goes to a choir that doesn't make finals.

Spellbound was amazing!!!! I wish they allowed the girls groups in the running for Grand Champion, because Spellbound would have taken it with the highest score of the day. Amazing job!!! and a special shout out to all the groups. It was so fun to see choirs from all over the country come out and represent. congrats to all.
