There were so many wonderful shows and a great competition to see in the small mixed division.

Great job to all the finalists!

Huntington's and Edgewood's shows are amazing! It was a joy to get to see them (twice!).

Also I don't believe that the Washington accents were in attendance, but if they did perform it was at least in a different time slot. Can anyone confirm?

Small mixed finalists as announced are

Also I would like say that I thought it was really unfortunate that all the small mixed groups left in the middle of awards

We left because we had to get ready to perform. The schedule is really tightly packed.

So the schedule for this one is posted. It's different than most competitions, so I'll try to explain real quick. There's 4 divisions total and 4 sets of finals for each respective division. There's Tier I and Tier II (i.e. Large and Small). In the prelims, Mixed Tier I, Women Tier I, and Women Tier II are all performing in the gymnasium. Mixed Tier II performs in the auditorium for prelims. For finals, Mixed Tier I and Women Tier I are in the gym while Mixed Tier II and Women Tier II are in the auditorium. In terms of number of finalists, Mixed Tier I and Women Tier I are both taking 4 finalists, Mixed Tier II is taking 6 finalists, and Women Tier II will have 4 finalists. With that being said, all Tier I groups are automatically slated for finals and Mooresville has actually already set the Tier I finals performance schedule which is also posted above.

And as always, this is of course subject to change - just posting what was sent to us today.

Probably a dumb question - but if there are only 4 groups in Tier I, why aren't they doing a "One and done" for that category?

This was an ISSMA event. If it still is, I imagine ISSMA requires a certain scheduling procedure.
