Anyone have a breakdown of points or rankings? I am curious to know how close it was!

From what I heard today, Fairfield beat Solon by 4 points and Marysville by 7. So just as close as it seems like it should be!

I’m never surprised to see Fairfield’s middle school in finals. There’s so much depth in talent in Fairfield’s program.

I realize that now, this isn't just some ordinary Middle School, they are fantastic

Are you allowing pictures to be taken or will video to be taken/sold?

Last time I attended (2016) there were NUMEROUS signs letting you know it's not ok to photograph or record show choirs. I doubt things have changed.

Things are changing and many venues are saying no flash photography and letting everyone take their own pictures. Marysville last weekend is an example. Professionals don't want to deal with the liability that comes with recording anything.

Thank you for the reply yes I am from Marysville so that’s one of the reasons why I was asking because I knew what we did last weekend .... I guess we will see when we get there. Go show choir! Good luck to everyone competing this weekend.

We will not be selling DVDs, and there will be signs that say no audio or visual recordings. However, we do not mind if audience members take pictures. We will not have a professional photographer here, so feel free to take all of the pictures you want!

And some photographers don’t want to photograph competitions anymore because school won’t always agree to have a “No Photography at all” rule. Without that rule, many of them can’t afford to be there, since people are way less likely to buy if they can just have their own free ones regardless of quality, so they end up being out the money they spent on expenses to be there. I know that’s why there wasn’t a photographer as Marysville.
