Beavercreek, way to close the season with a bang!! You obviously raised your game tonight and brought all that you had. I'm very proud of you guys, and I know Mrs Busch is elated with how you all did based on the screaming phone call I received from all of you last night! God Bless and way to go! Damon

Just wanted to thank you all for a great day! I have been to many Invitationals over my daughters show choir days - this was my youngests final competition - and you ran a great competition. You have fun, friendly and helpful kids and parents. Keep up the good work!

I also want to congradulate all the choirs on putting on such great shows. You are all winners in my book!

I want to send a special congradulations out to Churubusco - you have had a great season and want to thank you for letting me be a part of it. I love you all.

Thank you to everyone who participated in and attended Music and More. What a great time we had as your hosts! WOW! What a day...and evening.

Check out wapaksingsation.com later today (Sunday)for all the Best performers and soloists names. (I left the jump drive in the high school computer!-rats!)

Just to clarify-
Churubusco- had adults in their combo....we mis categorized them, they were kind enough to tell us....
so we gave the trophy to GARFIELD HEIGHTS who won the best combo students only.

the Best Combo with adults was awarded to Fairfield on Stage. Churubusco was a couple points ahead if they had been scored in that category. so we awarded another trophy for best instrumentals WITH adults to Churubusco. Fairfield was not asked to give up the trophy we had given them. it was our miss.
We love to give out trophies, but H-A-T-E to make mistakes. Luckily, this one was easily fixed and we apologize to Garfield Heights for missing your name on stage.

It is our first year giving out 2 Instrumental awards and we will do better getting every one in the right category next year.

PLEASE rest assured that all the scoring was correct. I know earlier in this thread there was some discussion about scoring problems. There were no scoring problems....just recognizing the difference of someone who is a young looking adult rather than a mature looking student!!!!! " border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Fairfield: Such an INTENSE show, I honestly didn't know if it was going to be you or beavercreek on top, and after looking back on it the judges were absolutely right. Your ballad was amazing, I didn't want it to end. Your combo is so superb in it's own right. I love the book number (When it comes to love...?) I'm in love with the opener. Congrats to Clark and Company... btw: Your parents are so awesome!

Beavercreek: Your ballad made me want to jump up and give a standing ovation, that ballad was up there with Bashana Haba'ah (FFE '05), overtones like WHAT!?!?! Seriously good job! Despite what CR Kennedy or Carroll says Damon's choreography was far from lame this weekend and weren't the same. Your nerd number was funny as heck! Like I told Fairfield I honestly didn't know who was going to be on top. Congrats on the 1ru.

Churubusco: OMG! The myspace number was freakin FUNNY! I love what Jason Johnson gave you. His moves are so cool. Mr. Hile arranged some superb charts this season, I'm in love with the acapella ballad. Congrats again on the 2ru!

Garfield Hts.: SUCH an improvement from the last time I saw you guys. I love how you differentiated My Vision from the Mt. Zion arrangement, Well Ron Jones did is more like it ;). The vocals are so good compared to past years. I'm excited to see where you guys will go with this. I learned you guys did in "Real Show Choir Heroes" a shout out to Pumpitup and myself at Twinsburg... I felt honored more than anything, not sure how Jake feels. Anywho the guys number was just... wow! speechless. I happen to love Antwon's staging for that. Rambling done! Congrats on the 3ru!

Edgewood: I hate to dwell on the past but apparently Ohio show choir just isn't liking the Elletsville show choirs. Which is terribly unfortunate as I happened to LOVE your show. The closer was so good. I love the changes on them from the '93 version (original arrangement). Good luck in Branson.

Cory-Rawson: Great show, I was talking to a few of your parents and they were talking about your season. I have to say I'm pretty impressed (no pun intended), considering you guys don't really have that many people in your high school. The ballad was the best part of the show IMO. Congrats again.

Brush: I know you ladies were missing about 30% of your singer/dancers, but that didn't seem to stop you guys from strutting your stuff. We'll see where next year takes us!

CONGRATS TO EVERYONE!!!

It was great to meet so many SCCers:
-Kevdoug
-TVBlondiex3
-BeninChoraliers07
-walsh
-AllStarshow choir1
-AllStar88
I'm sure I'm missing some...

I will be interested to see how Edgewood does in the Finals because they were missing 4 baseball players earlier today. Now that their staging will be normal, they should have a lot more pop in their show. Good luck Warehouse, represent Southern Indiana well!!!
