I just never seen this method before.
just my bitterness as u say most come from the fact that having a number 5 as our rank does not help me better myself if i dont have comments and tips from an actual sheet to help better myself and the show choir. Im sure im not the only one thinking about it cuz i really what to know how to improve

I'm glad you speak so highly of it. contrary to popular belief the judges judge based off what they see. We understand you're a little bitter about the outcome, but honestly you're not able to change it. Take what you've learned from this competition (Leave it all on the stage) and bring it with you during the season.

Oh i will and bring it :D

well i wanted to know too what people think of the new ranking scoring

i heard what u do is watch the choirs and rank 1 to 5.
not sure how they do it for vocal and choreo. just give it to the person from the score of daytime?? very strange. I think u would of wanted to go last to be remebered then from being scored hehe.
it like our performance order was a backwards ranking

It was new never tried it before but i really had a fun time there :D
Grats FC :D

What'd everyone think of the competition? Awesome scoring techniques used in the night show. It didn't take long at all to get the results. I hope the judges were full after dinner break. We had some real mathematicians tabulating the girls scores.

If this were facebook, i would like this.

This was horrible!! How do you award a choir , give them the trophies then an hour later come back and take it? Those girls were devistated.. I know this works both ways, but I can not imagine being told you won, you celebrate, then only to find out, it was a mistake. That was terrible! I felt so bad for Cardinal Company. They were awesome ! Their choreo and vocals this year... AWESOME!!! Cardinal Company... You were number one as far as I am concerned!!

Just for the correction, Mrs. Parks kindly offered to exchange trophies. There was no taking back. The announcement was never formally made that the error occurred in tabulations.

It is always unfortunate for this to occur and hopefully contest officials will do a better job in the future of scorekeeping!

hey i want to congratulate everyone who went to this competition... fairfield i saw your show on youtube and i thought you guys looked very good and i knew you would be tough competition for any group in the nation. Colerain and Northrup have always been great competition too and i knew that this was going to be a great competition for all the choirs attending early on in the season.

But i got to throw a special shout out to my fc singers on this one... I remember 2 weeks ago coming to a practice, thinking this is nowhere near a group that would be able to touch a group like fairfield and colerain. and you guys pumped it out and worked your tails off the last 2 weeks and proved me and mj completely wrong... from what i hear (i wasnt at the comp) you guys completely deserved it and im really proud of all you. Way to keep the tradition of excellence alive and to strive for being the best possible group in the face of adversity. As an alum im incredibly proud and cant wait to see how far you guys have come! CONGRATS FC!!!

(dont eat too much cake!)
