Is it Nathan Kitrell from Sioux City East? He won BMS award at every comp they attended last year. I haven't heard his name as much this season, so I wasn't sure if he graduated.

It is my opinion that this competition's finals qualifiers can be broken down into 3 tiers:

Tier 1 - aka if these groups don't make finals then this season is officially the weirdest ever
Aberdeen Central
Norwalk
Sioux City East
St. Francis

Tier 2 - will probably make finals
Westwood

Tier 3 - One or MAYBE two will sneak into finals:
Bellevue West
Blair
Le Mars
Random group that hasn't been a contender in the recent past but is having a good year

Snow messed with the schedule a bit. Will be interesting to see how it plays out!

My personal guess based on recent history is that Westwood and Bellevue West will make finals and Le Mars/Blair will be out. Hard to tell though, as this is the first competition for some of these groups.
