Wait a second...that's outrageous! Those ticket prices can't be right...I am totally confused! Can someone let me know what is really up with the prices? " border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Tickets are gonna be sold at the door, because there are still some available. Pre-lims are $8 and finals are $10 to my knowledge.  I will post the times in the morning, because i don't have them accessible right now.

Well shoot - you know, if they had outright said that to begin with, I might not have made other plans to go out of town! The original $40 price tag was ridiculous... Oh well... Maybe next year.

Those ticket prices are MUCH better though, everyone should go - it will be a good contest!

Don't overlook John Burroughs PowerHouse. Difficult material sung as good as any show choir I've ever heard. (Whatever you do in Chicago, don't miss their ballad.) It's a unique show, filled with special effects, costume changes, and very difficult choreography (the speed of their last number is unbelievable.)

But the best part is these kids don't appear to just know this show; they come across more professional than that. They know how to perform - period.

thanx for likin burroughs!!! their dance moves are harder then some choirs.. their vocalZ this year kick A$$! they sound good on DAVID...... so we'll c who winZ!!! c everyone in chicago!

That's for sure! Powerhouse's set is awesome!! And what ever you do, if you're going to showstoppers, do not miss their ballad, "When David Heard"! if you miss that you'll regret it

The arrangments and choreography has to be at a certain difficulty level to achieve the maximum amount of points.  If you have an easy show and do it well, it still wont be enough to get you into finals.

Tell that to Petal

What is that supposed to mean? I may just be really slow and stupid, but I don't understand. Maybe it's because I'm from Petal. I don't know. Please Explain - is this complimentary or is it supposed to be degrading?

It wasn't meant to be taken the wrong way. It really doesn't have anything to do with your show. It is just an inside joke between me and drpeppr27. Sorry for the mix up

If EE doesn't win this contest. then I won't be a happy boy. They deserve to win this contest, they have such an amazing show...probably one of my favorite shows in recent years, and they deserve to end the year with a championship. Mt.Zion also deserves a 1st Runner Up. Buffalo Grove doesn't impress me at all this year, and vocally are worse than I have ever heard them...they will probably get 2nd runner up. That is, if I was running the contest. But then, Eisenhower should have won Dekalb and Buffalo Grove should have placed like 3rd Runner up, and they got 2nd. So I don't know. Good luck anyways, i'll be rooting for EEE all the way, especially Zack! Get it!
