What is the chance of getting the judge's points or rankings? Come on FAME, GIVE US A REASON TO CONTINUE LIKING YOUR OVER-ALL OBJECTIVES.

Competitions rarely ever post points and/or rankings publicly. Your best bet is to contact directors that attended for full results.

I'm pretty sure if you keep posting in that color I'm going to need a stronger glasses prescription.

I believe David Moellenkamp from Los Al was named Vocal Vanguard and I think Linn-mar was named the best regional competition.

In my opinion, probably should have been Sing All About It for Best Regional Comp. see why here. https://youtu.be/6esJx9sFtp4

Congrats to Los Al on a well deserved win. Their vocals are amazing! I was wondering if anybody could help me understand the theme of their mixed show though?

Here's my best interpretation. Starts with a girl sleeping. Seems like the country is filled with lots of bad news. A pseudo-celebrity is running for office (presumably President), with his popularity carrying him through the election season. This girl thinks that he's bad for the country and decides to face him in the election. They go back and forth with typical rhetoric. Then the real story is revealed that actions on both sides are really controlled by the guy whom I presume portrays the media? (Which by the way, the choreo in that song with the marionette strings was amazing.)

She breaks away from the media strings and is her own person, wins the election. But alas, remember how it started? She was asleep.... was the whole thing a dream?

Again, just my guess/interpretation. Anyone else have any insight?

Final sidenote: even though my daughter was in a competing choir at Fame Nationals (Carroll), Los Al clearly was a deserving Grand Champion last weekend---their overall show, visuals and vocals were incredible. Congrats!

Janesville?

Yes, Janesville Craig Spotlighters. Clean and vocally powerful.

I will say that FAME needs to change how they reveal the first runner up however. That was awful. This is not some lame beauty pageant. Spots deserved their round of applause for putting on a great show, as did Carroll in the Women's Division. But they didn't get it. Instead they announced the grand champion and left them standing there. They deserve the same applause that all the groups that came before them got because they were that good.

If you don't glean the field by announcing the top 6 groups and leaving the other three standing there hapless then it wouldn't be that obvious. Make it better.

I'm pretty sure it's the 2016 Presidential Election: D. Trump Vs. H. Clinton. It goes back and forth showing pros and cons to both sides. If any one knows more about there theme, I would love to hear your ideas.

It was a fun day featuring a variety of styles of show choir. The ladies weee probably performing in what will be rank order. In the mixed Los was great with one minor carpet snag. Janesville was a solid wall of sound and very clean and Carrol had a cool show. For my money that is 1-2-3
