Sue Damon??? That would be pointless. His groups pay him in Moonshine... he has no money.

That's so dadgum ironic, around that there moonshine still there used to be a purty lil' gal named "Damon Sue!"

You sure did order us pizza. Because Studio went first in finals, we didn't get a chance to have dinner before we performed, and when we got back and changed, the cafeteria was closed up and out of food. A little disheartening, but after the awards, the fine people of Jefferson High ordered twenty pizzas for us. Freakin' great.

We extend our sincere gratitude. *tips a hat*

Bahaha, I hosted you guys. And you guys really did appreciate that pizza. But I guess all that hard work pays off for many things, eh? Haha, the first kid who walked down the hallway and saw it looked like he had just seen Santa, or the Easter Bunny.

Congratulations to everyone who performed at Jefferson this weekend. I enjoyed every show that I watched, and overall had a fantastic time. Our hosts were great and all of the other choirs were very friendly, which definitely makes for a great weekend! By the way, props to Jefferson for ordering us pizza.
Heh, yeah, we broke the stage a little bit during our day show... and we broke through the stage at Totino last week... does that say something about our choir?

Jill, I work with an all-men's show choir twice a week- a men's group that named themselves the Testostertones...

You think I have no use for moonshine? It'll get me through the day!

It must be something about Damon Brown.

Maybe we should start making him pay for everything his choirs break?

Heh, well, last week at Totino, when we were up on stage to receive our medals, we started singing our school song, and jumping up and down on the risers. Next thing you know, the legs of the risers go straight through the floor of the stage, and the kids were getting away from there! Fortunately, nobody was seriously hurt, and the kids from Totino were all joking about how they needed new risers anyway, so it was all good.

And then, I'm not so sure about Jefferson, but apparently some wood support that was used to balance the risers broke or moved out of place or something. I'm not exactly sure, but either way, we still managed to mess up the stage a bit. All in the name of show choir!

Yea it was just a shim that had slipped out from under one of the legs cause our stage is extremely old and we need a new one but its all good nothin broke

hahah that is hilarious. how do you manage to break the stage? hahaha. Congrats to Urbandale! You have a solid show this year. Great job!

Kennedy- You've also had an outstanding year. Congrats also for stepping it up in finals.

I know we broke the stage my senior year when we were jumping and shaking our booties at our invite with the crowd.

Then at Jefferson we broke through the same spot during our finals show and about died when we were getting our trophy and medals at awards. It's not really that hard.

I believe that top score in the auditorium makes finals, and I don't think that I could see Benton getting shut out of that. Having never seen DM Roosevelt this year, I think Benton could finish as high as 3rd Runner Up. Hopefully Happiness can be a little lighter on their feet this year and hopefully not put a hole in Jefferson's stage for the third time in three years!

Congrats to Urbandale!!! 4 championships with matching caption awards, quite a way to end the year!! You've risen to the occassion time after time, and it would be impossible for me to be more proud of you guys and your acheivements. Way to go out with a bang in your last competition!

To Kennedy, way to go moving up in finals and grabbing the silver! You've also had an amazing year doing one of the most complicated shows I can remember staging! Your great work ethic made everything come together amazingly well. Thank you, and I have the pictures you gave me hanging in my office right now! God Bless, Damon

According to the schedule above, the finals awards should have been over with for at least 45 minutes.
