So, I am trying to remember who it was exactly, but at this competition I stood on stage to represent our school and was complimented by two other representatives, but I can't remember which choir they were from. It wasn't Poquoson or Varina, and they weren't wearing green (which I thought was Patrick Henry). Anyway, these two students are to be commended on how incredibly poised and polite they were. They went out of their way to give a genuine compliment, and that means a lot to me

I believe they were wearing black/white.

I will definitely make sure I try to see (m)Pulse because when I heard about your show I was really excited to see it but I was in the warm-up room with Harbor Lights

Well I'm really excited for Harbor Lights' show because I love love love your dresses, and I heard about your show too!

Three days! (Or four. I'm not really sure how to count days.) :]

(m)pulse, I absolutely fell in love with your show. Especially the opening costumes and "A Night To Remember." Great job!

Can't wait to see everyone at Manchester!

Wow, THANK YOU! We had a tough time with "A Night to Remember" because we flew our choreographer in and then it proceeded to snow the ENTIRE weekend and we barely got to work with him. :-( I'm glad it came together and you enjoyed it.

I didn't get to see Harbor Lights because they went on right after us, but the Manchester schedule looks pretty good for seeing them next week. I loved their orange and yellow costumes. They looked so summery and cheerful!

If I don't get to see Touch of Jade sooner, I'll see you at Kecoughtan!

Congratulations to everyone who performed and especially to the groups who placed! This was my first year at Powhatan and I had an amazing time! I didn't get to see any of the A division girls groups, but I saw all but one, I believe, of the mixed groups. I was really impressed

Everyone last night was amazing. I'm only really upset that I didn't get to see the other B shows and Kecoughtan's.

Big Congrats to Cosby and Manchester, you guys rocked it.

so cosby won best vocals and choreo yet manchester won?

Yepers... I'm sure it was really close in scores and the two groups couldnt be more different from one another. I picked Cosby.

I think shows that arent original should never be allowed to win Best Show... but its to each his own, Manchester was great, but it is always a fun game before I go to a competition and play "What old Andy numbers is Manchester doing this year?" I didn't get any accurate this year =-.( I was expecting Findlays Coffee In A Cardboard... But Im glad they did Andy's Show Off, twas great.

Much love to all groups the rest of the season, you guys did amazing the past 2 days!
