What was the complete list of judges (and qualifications if provided in the program)?

Agreed. Making accusations such as Northrup having the upper hand with no proof is a little silly!

I do not agree that Northrop deserved second place. I'm not saying they did poorly, but I honestly do not believe they deserved second. There was something else going on in the judging panel last night.

Next time you wanna talk trash, try not hide behind a name without a choir associated.

Agreed.

What school do you represent, rebecca47460?

Nothing upsets me more than to see people talk so rudely about a choir. Northrop kicked some serious butt last night and they definately deserved 2nd place. Next time you wanna talk trash, try not hide behind a name without a choir associated.

Do you have all the judges scores then?
I'm interested in seeing how the judges placed everyone!

+1

After the day show, finals must have been really close. If anyone has the breakdown of scores, please post 'em!!

Final notes: I think there was an unfair advantage in this competition, but you all did good. I would just say that, it must be nice to have a former director on the judging pannel for northrop! may explain the mass confusion on the night placements. but thats just my opinion

This statement is uncalled for. Mr Heins hasn't been associated with Northrop since 2000. He has been a judge at 'Busco before when we have competed there as well as judging numorous other places. I doubt the people at 'Busco would allow a judge to come back if they even suspected he would give an unfair advantage to a group. Mr. Heins is a respected choral judge and would not stoop to unfairly judging a choir.

I understand that it's your opinion that we were placed to high, and that's fine. It was also the opinion of 5 judges, not one, that we were placed 2nd.

wow! busco was such a suprise last night! congrats to all the groups u all did amazing!

here were my predictions after seeing the night show

GC: FC
1RU: DeKalb
2RU:Chesteron
3RU:Northrop
4RU:Anderson

Franklin Central: Omg! u guys totally got what you deserved u were nothing short of amazing for this early in the season! its nice to see u guys back on top of your game! i loved it and will hopefully be able to see u guys again!

DeKalb: Never really been a huge fan of you guys...but u guys blew me away! u were the most entertaining group of the night by far. You sang amazingly, i was so suprised it was dekalb that was singing well. and ur choreo was so clean...love love love love love love it!! you made everyone wanna get up and dance, i am probably the number one dekalb fan now!!! this is what show choir is suppose to be like people!

Chesteron: You had an awesome day show and night show...from what i hear this was ur first weekend our for the yr..? You guys are gonna be a force to reckon with! no doubt everyone needs to watch there back for u guys....awesome job...cant wait to see u guys again

Northrop: I love your ballad! Cliche show choir songs but u guys def. pulled them off! i love how u guys opend the show with the three couples! that was really pretty, not where i would have placed u but u guys still did great!

Anderson: You guys were awesome i loved loved loved the show....and the powerhouse ballad! amazing!!!

Final notes: I think there was an unfair advantage in this competition, but you all did good. I would just say that, it must be nice to have a former director on the judging pannel for northrop! may explain the mass confusion on the night placements. but thats just my opinion

good luck to everyone in the rest of their season!

Just got back from Ft. Wayne. What an exciting competition! Busco played a great host to a really fun competition. The groups made it a thriller down to the last second! Northrop....WOW Strings?! I didn't think that was possible!! Anyway, a great day (and a great finish...might I say :-D ). And for any of you who may have missed it...the Singers (ya...I'm just the drummer :-D ) got so excited in celebration on stage that the trophy broke in half due to excessive shaking!!! hahahahaha

Way to go FC!!!!!!!! I'm so proud of you guys and how you've learned to believe in yourselves again this year. Take a couple days to celebrate a hard-earned victory, then get ready to start pushing the show higher and higher! God Bless, Damon

Its nice to see Franklin Central doing well, i know they had the years of a really young group, looks like the time paid off so far.

It will be fun to see how they do the rest of the year

Who were the judges? I heard that one of the judges was or had been in the past closely affiliated with Northrop?

'BUSCO!!! Thanks for an amazing competition!

I only got to see two shows besides 'Busco and that was Anderson and Chesterton at night.

Anderson - the austin powers suits for the opener were great! and ur guys number was hillarious! Overall very entertaining, ur shows are always so unique.

Chesterton - Nice vocals! I don't really remember specific details but after your show I was definitely impressed!

'Busco - I love your opener!!! You gusy are so entertaining every year and the online song was a great novelty. I was sad u guys didnt do Bon Jovi this year But your closer was one of my favorites numbers so far this year!

Congrats Franklin Central!! I can't wait to see you guys next week at the Classique!!
Good job to everyone today, I know going into finals everyone was like 4 points away??? That's extremely tight competition
