Encores has 26 people in it this year. That's right around the same numbers Norwell has.

Good competition! (disappointing from the perspective of a Highland fan though.)

Here are my thoughts on the finals:

Mystiques: Good show, it was fun to watch. Keep it up!

Starliters: Love you girls! Your show was as good as ever, good luck at HN!

Knight Stars: Great show, very good visuals, congratulations!

Beavercreek: Solid group, pleasant show to watch!

Churubusco: Same to you, liked the Myspace song!

Lafeyette Jeff: I've never agreed with Ostentatious show designs, but your choreo was solid, I thought you guys did better than 6th.

Highland: Blows me away more every time. Love this show soooo much! It's tough being up 6 points going into finals and losing, but you should still be proud! Good luck at HN!

Pike: Absolutely loved your show. Very intense and genuine. If there was any group that I was rooting for besides Highland, it was you guys. However, I do honestly believe that you didn't belong in the small mixed division. Pike isn't the first school that comes to mind when I think of "small". Still, congratulations!

Norwell: Good things do come in small packages! For your size, you're vocal sound is excellent. Overall a good show!

Singers Unlimited: You guys did well today as the host choir, good luck at HN!

in a text i got:

"They could DANCE, but their vocals were very weak"

i am sure some people can be more help when they get on here.

That pretty much sums it up. They had lots of flash (strobe lights, what I think was a fire extingusher, confetti). But it just seemed hollow. LJ used to back up it's glitz and glamour with great vocals. That just didn't happen today. Maybe today was just a bad day.

YEAH PIKE!!!

I can't believe what a tremendous turnaround you guys made from just two weeks ago. The energy, the vocals, everything, man, it was unbelievable.

I can't say how proud I am of you guys. It was obvious you put tons of effort into making your show better.

You guys pulled off something truly special. Great, great, great job! Not to mention this was your first finals trip of the year.

Can't forget to give a shoutout to the Mystiques (and my little sis) for making finals for the first time in 5 or 6 years.

Congrats guys!

Way to go Pike!
I heard you guys rocked it, and prelims you were 60 points ahead of Highland, that is outstanding.

so after seeing most of the mix show choirs small and large. i believe LJ first edition, beavercreek, anderson highland, norwell knight moves, pike encores, and probably churubusco new era also in finals. for those of you thinking those are all the four large choirs that were in prelims thats right thats why im prettsy sure they will all make finals which would leave only two spots for small mixed choirs to take.ill post prelim results as soon as awards are over!

Yea so that isnt right because bellmonts coming too.. But i think we might go in large division. But im not sure either way it sucks because you have to go up against Pike who shouldnt be in small division or jefferson who is amazin so that sucks
But we'll be there!

pike is in the small division because we have 26 singers this year lol i would consider that pretty small. it'll be a good competition. good luck to everyone going.

By the way....DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO'S JUDGING?!?!?!

I believe the judges are:

Rick Seaver
Debbi Andis
Shawn Porter
Lawrence Fitz
Maria Rivers
I can't remember the Outstanding Performer Judge...

and

Jeffrey Carter (Solo Comp and he will add to show choirs at night)

I'm pretty sure those are the judges....
