Not bad for a first outing. It would have been nice to see us place higher. I guess we aren't as good as people thought this year.

I just talked to some of the Warehouse kids over the phone and they said that it is very close between 1st and 4th.

I know that Davenport North won their division (5A??) and was told that they are either 1 point behind or 1 point ahead of Mt Zion--cant remember which one--it was a very quick rushed conversation!

i dont think so yet.
a friend from nevada is calling me after with all of the results.
so i'll have those up after announcements.

someone actually attending the competition will have to put the actual point spreads up.

Alright, I could barely hear so I just assumed when they told me it was in order of points. Do we know the point spread for finals?

Edgewood
Neveda
Mt. Zion
Davenport North

I know I am missing a group and I also do not know which o fthe Rock Bridges is going in. Sorry thats all I have right now!

-Jeni

I got a call from a Nevada alum and the 6th finalist is Des Moines.

Also..... going into finals, Nevada is in first place with MTZ in 2nd i believe.
I know Nevada won the 4A devision with MTZ placing 2nd and Edgewood 3rd.

That's all i know for now.

" border="0" alt="offtopic.gif" /> So, i have some questions about this compeition:

There is only two jr high groups competition this year " border="0" alt="ermm.gif" /> ?

Is there a date set for next year " border="0" alt="phone.gif" /> ?

if you get more jr high to compete their would you hold the jr high on a friday nite?

I am not sure about a friday night comp for the middle school. Normally we set up on friday night and the gym is used that night for a basketball game most of time, further more if there was a friday night middle school comp that would mean that we would have to set up early that day or before and the gym is used by the school for class. I have not heard anything from any higher powers on this, this is just my personal opinion of what i think would happen. But who know if there were enough middle school groups they could perform in Bonfils Troy's super up to date auditorium! Not really its like 100 years old! but who knows!
