I know what you mean! I have never been as nervous after finals as I was at this competition. You guys (Ankeny) were amazing, and you really did push us to give our best performance. And when it's all said and done, that's really what show choir is all about-- Giving it your all because it's what you love to do. I think both groups realized that at Millard West.

Wow. To hear someone from Visual Adrenaline hand out a compliment like that is really kind of astonishing. Thank you!! I must say that going up against the Ankeny powerhouse of a show choir really pushed us to a completely different level! We kind of owe you a debt of thanks for that. Hopefully we will see each other again!

As did going against you!
To be perfectly honest, we didn't think we had anything to worry about.
We'd never seen you and just kinda assumed we'd just take the competition
(Which would have been awfully boring. I hate those kind of competitions)

But then when you beat us during day round.. we were scared.
We all just looked at each other and said "Okay, this is our last time. No matter what place we get, we're going to leave EVERYTHING on that stage and give it our heart. No judge can take anything away from that."
And then we actually got to SEE you perform.

We were stunned.
We hadn't seen a group compete that well ALL year.
Your choreo was sharp, your vocals were clean, and we took notes on napkins during your show of what we needed to improve for finals xD
As competitive as we were though, we also loved your show. (And your men's suits.. hahaha. We all got so confused as to who were OUR guys!!) And as much as we may have wanted to hate you, we couldn't. You were all so sweet and worked SO hard on that stage.

I really hope we can compete again next year!!
Never before had Finals been SO nervewracking!
haha

Thanks for pushing us
=]
We needed it

Thanks a lot! It meant a lot to us since it was our last competition this year =[
It amazed me we still managed to pull off best vocals, since we were crying through our show at finals =P haha.
SIOUX CITY EAST IS AMAZING.
You were the best group we've competed against all year. You got us SO pumped. Congrats on an EXCELLENT show. You had us terrified! We love your director, and we all just think you were all the sweetest kids. Hope to see you again next year!!!

Ok, so I've just been hearing random things but what I know is, for the day round SC East is in 1st and Ankeny is in 2nd, and Ankeny's prep is tied for 5th with Roosevelt, so there are 7 groups performing in finals. And best male soloist was Ankeny (taylor kinney.)
Sorry for the randomness, I'm trying to find out more. Sounds exciting though!

6thmaha North "Explosion!" ?

Well, we made finals at this competition last year...and I hope that if the rest of your predictions are true, we at least make 5th, because I'm pretty sure we beat Bryan at UNO.

Thanks for the vote of confidence ;)

I'd like to give a shout out to the Beadle Middle School "Show Dogs". I was an original member of the beadle middle school show choir, make me proud.

I just realized I left Roosevelt of the finalist list. I think they might in somewhere between Heelan nad Papillion South. Also, from what I've heard South isn't doing too well right now, so they might be fighting Ralston for that last spot.

I'm glad you're excited about coming to Millard West.
As for times, they have not posted any yet, but when the students get them I will put them on.
I can tell you that we are all very excited for the groups coming this year!

Just a reminder to post the schedule for the MW comp when it becomes available. Sometimes these things get lost when they move off p. 1 " border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
