Anybody know where else DM Roosevelt is competing this year? I'd like to see them. I hear we have a song in common in our shows this year and I'd love to see how their interpretation differs from ours. I have a co-worker with a son in their group, but she's horrible at remembering competition names and dates.

yah one of the points of Midwest Cup was to have the competition on one of UNL's Audition Days. I guess the thought process was they would get more kids to audition. Anyways, the audition day got moved back and so did Midwest Cup. It's good to see some new faces at this competition anyways.

yeah, i wish that this competition wasn't on the same date as the other one(which i cant remember the name of) It would have been really cool to see a larger variety of shows right at the beginning of the year!!

Due to the University's calendar thus year they placed their competition on the same day as the Westside competition. I would say about 75% if not more of the groups used to go to both of these. So groups had to choose between the competitions. I did hear these results though:
Grand Champions: Lincoln SW "Resonance"
1st Runner-Up: Dubuque Wahlert

The other finalists I know of were: Grand Island Sr. High, Bishop Heelan, and Norris.
