wow this competition exceeded my expectations. The shows were really good and we had an awesome dance party in our room
I really liked the idea of no finals for this competition because it was long drive back and alot of kids were already tired (including me)
but thanks again for being the best hosts so far!

awww... hey i was a host for that room! yeah... that was a lot of fun... while it lasted.

That was competition was really fun... I'm quite suprised we got Best Dressed.. but we'll take it. Here's a question If you could pick out 1 performer from any group who really stuck out during the competition whether with facials, choreography or whatever who would it be?

Now that the competition is over, what are everyone's thoughts on not having finals? Do you like not having them or after seeing the groups, do you wish there could have been finals?

What is Fort's show this year?

Who judged?

Judges:
Matt Huth
April James
Doug Manderfield
Jared Voss
Terry Flanagan

Fort's Show:
Riding the Storm Out
Pirates of Dance
Into the West
Life in My Day
Ride the Wind

I'm not a big fan of not having finals. To me it seems a wasted Saturday to go and do one show (especially with all the equipment we have) and not "make it count" in finals. Sure a trophy always make things better, but still very different. Honestly, if we wanted to, we could've left after we performed seeing as theres nothing keeping us there (especially with schools who drive over three hours), but that would have been rude.
Although, because we compete against all of these groups so much and its getting to the point where kids from other show choirs tell if you've had a good show or not, it's a positive thing that you don't have to sit through another session of shows.

I liked not having finals, but our show felt like it was finals anyways, since it was at 7:30. I liked that we got outta there so early, but it still felt like an incredibly long day. I'm thinking part of that was me being sick.

You didn't know!?!?!

It was in the cooler that was green. They only had the original green kind though, but that was still good. And it was priced pretty well. $2 for a can.
