Kind of fun little anecdote about tomorrow.
I work at Baymont Inn and Suites in Janesville which is where Iowa City 4th Avenue Jazz Company is staying tomorrow. While looking up arrivals I saw it said "Iowa City 'Jass' Choir". So I said to my manager "Oh, you must have meant 'Jazz' choir." Oh no, she literally thought they were called the 'Jass' Choir. Now even if I wasn't show choir savvy I would still have a hard time figuring out what a 'Jass' Choir is. Regardless, I enjoy my job so I just decided to let it go. However, if you guys check in tomorrow and your name is spelled wrong, don't yell at me .

Good Luck to Girls in Heels and every other group there! It would have been so fun for Sound Check to go again as well, but we know our girls will represent! " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Have fun all!

I remember a few years ago this competition took a major hit because of the snow.

Thankfully that allowed us to make finals that year ()

I've liked this competition a lot the few times i've attended, i won't forget my wonderful host Britney

I remember that year, it was January 2005, my son was a freshman, it was supposed to be our groups first competition of the year. We got hit hard in La Crosse and the bus company actually called and said they wouldn't travel.

I'm not in the group anymore because I graduated in 2006, but I'm glad you enjoyed their show! It's always fun going back to watch them perform. Good Luck to everyone at Milton on Saturday!

Anytime a group gets in finals it should count, irregardless of what groups were there. If you guys got into finals, you deserved to be there....plus every group has to start out somewhere and somehow!

I didn't mean to sound so down about that. We were happy about that finals, and we learned a lot from it, but we're just keeping it in perspective.

P.S. I really enjoyed your show two weeks ago at Monona

Yeah, I wasn't in the group the year almost no one came, but my friends have talked about it. It was one of Craig's first finals. Everyone knew that it didn't really count, though.

Iowa City High is attending.
i don't really know any of the other choirs so i can't put a finals list, but, because i am biased to my own school, i think 4th Ave will make it. the show is really good this year. and we've done a lot of cleaning and combo is great and i just think if we give it all we have, we can do really well.

since i don't know much about your choirs, how are the in WI??

Considering this competition is only 2 weeks away, what are people thinking?

This topics kinda burried at the moment!
