According to the Civic Center's website... it's the little theatre and Grand Hall

I know we talked about this last spring but I can't remember if anyone knew a real answer...where in the Civic Center is this being held? one of the Convention Halls? I'm sure it's going to be much better for everyone than having it at PHS....and for sure better than the year it was at UC.

WOW. This comp is gonna be ridiculous. I'm so excited. There are so many good groups there and everyone is going to have to be on top of their game and give an absolute amazing show to make finals. I'm just so excited for this one.

hmmm... this competition looks like it will be a good one.... i think there are ten schools as possible finalists annnnd they are marrietta ( if im not mistaken i have heard good things), winfield (have no idea how they have done recently but in 05 they were phenomenal), martinsburg (got second at states last year), edgewood (awesome show last year), nitro ( ive heard great things about them, and who can forget sarah beth), cabell midland ( did very well at poca last year, have lots of potential) , teays valley(they are teays valley), garfield heights (did very well last year, super geek was hilarious), capitol (always does well at this competition, their vocals are always good), and of course hurricane.

my guess is that it will play out something like this

GC- Hurricane (maby...big maby teays)
1st R-Teays Valley

now it gets complicated

2nd R-edgewood/martinsburg
3rd R-edgewood/martinsburg
4thR-Capitol/Cabell/Nitro/Winfield/Garfield/Marrieta
5thR-Marrieta/Garfield/Winfield/Nitro/Cabell/Capitol

lol after first runner up i have no clue out of those choirs... really any of them could be anywhere in the top ten... cant wait to see how it goes! goodluck to all! " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Don't count Edgewood out, we came very close to beating Teays Valley last year at St. Clairsville. We were ahead of them in the preliminary rounds. Then again don't count us in, we won't know until it's official that night.

GC - Hurricane
1RU - Teays Valley
2RU - Edgewood
3RU - Garfield Heights
4RU - Nitro
5RU - Cabell Midland

Edit: Predictions

Actually, MusicFest is set to be held in the Charleston Civic Center, which will have WAY MORE than enough seats for everybody. That was, indeed, a majorproblem last year and with it's relocation to the Civic Center, seating will be much better this year. Good to see you coming back, Garfield. I'm always a fan of your shows. I know that Garfield Heights will be making a return to Poca this year. by any chance, do you know if they are attempting to get the comp back at that auditorium thing or is it gonna be at the high school again?

Who all is coming to MusicFest this year? I've heard good things about the lineup this year, but I don't have a clue about who will be there, being graduated and all.

EDIT: Someone from Teays Valley posted that they're coming in another thread, so there's one.
