i deffinately have to commend Hurricane for thier showing in finals. they were 6th after the day and then they climbed back up to 3rd place for finals, that is some determination.

Marysville - This was such an amazing competition. I don't think anyone but the people who witnessed finals realize what a big win this actually was for Marysville. The Piqua/Marysville battle for Grand Champion was incredible to witness, these two schools both wanted it so bad, and put on the two best shows I've seen all show choir season. It was absolutely incredible! Marysville you guys rocked the stage. That was your best performance of your show to date. The energy was really intense.

Piqua - You guys took my breath away. Holy crap. I don't think I've ever seen a better show live. You guys were amazing. The facials were dead on. Every single person in that group wanted it so bad. I don't think I've ever seen such a passionate performance. The opener and the ballad were breath-taking. Seriously, I almost got tears (again) after the ballad. I wish I could just watch you guys sing that ballad over and over again. Congratulations. Even though you got second, you were so close to winning it. I don't think anyone would have been surprised had you guys been announced as Grand Champion. The fight between Marysville and you guys was that close.

Hurricane - Did not see your finals show (sadly). But you guys rocked in prelims. Seriously, this is my favorite Hurricane year and I was a little surprised when I heard you guys were 6th after prelims - but ... you guys climbed up to third and that is quite a feat (especially at this competition.) Congrats!

Teays Valley - Your show in prelims was crazy good. I've really grown into a huge fan of the show. Finals seemed to impress me less than prelims did though. I seriously thought you guys could have won after your show in prelims.

Medina - The second the key change happens in your ballad. It's chills throughout your body until the end of the song. Wow. Your ballad and Piqua's are hands down the best ballads in Ohio this year. I was so proud of you guys , great job.

Garfield - Holy crap! That finals performance was incredible. I could not believe my eyes/ears. Seriously, you guys rocked the stage in finals. You should be so proud.

GC - Marysville- WOW,WOW,WOW,WOW, that is all i have to say. you guys sing the heck out of EVERY song. your dynamics are so crazy, i think you may have the most mature sound that is not forced out of any groups i have EVER heard. your directos must be gods. although the opener is a lil dull, i still LOVED every part of the show, everything is so clean and your combo is just so unreal. great job and goodluck this next weekend! ps. i couldnt help but find myself watching your combo director, she was so passionate and so in the whole combos face with everything that you knew she, along with every kid on stage, wanted it.

1RU - Piqua- you my friends, were BY FAR my favorite show of the night. i loved the passion you had just pouring off the stage it was truly beautiful. Although i would same some girls need to not worry about out shinning the ones next to them so much, the show was hands down amazing. the songs were so awesome i loved everything. the set was so simple yet so perfect that it looked like diamonds to your girls outfits. just perfect.

2RU - Hurricane- lets just say, i had you behind marysville for winning best vocals. awesome, awesome, awesome. you guys just have an awesome tone. although the transitions are something you guys could work a lot on, your show has some of the best vocals i have heard in years. work on cleanning the dances and timing those lifts.. but i give you credit i wouldnt want to be thrown up like your girls are !

3RU - Teays Valley- the show is so strong. great ideas wonderful concept awesome song choices, i was just missing the spark of it. no doubt in my mind, this show deserves all the hardware it brings home. the opener is awesome im actually not sure how i feel about the closer. i feel like those jungle gym things almost take away from you guys because everyone is worried about setting them up that you forget to watch the show. but great creativity. you guys brought it.

4RU - Medina- the ballad was AWESOME i loved it so much, although i think michael buble is a lil old and overdone... the rest of the show was great. i enjoyed the guys number and closer the best.. great vocals in the closer.

5RU - Garfield- honestly, i had you guys in the top 3. you were great. even if the guys nmber seems like youre coasting off of last years nerd success, it works. the show was strong and really had no weak parts. your ballad was jaw dropping and i love see your guys success ! good luck in the rest of the season and all of your success.
