Alright, I'll throw up what I thought about the shows

Colerain- I loved the set you guys had and the theme that you followed. your vocals and choreography were pretty solid for still being early in the season and i figure that you guys can still improve on that performance and place higher next time around. and i loved your ballad (Music of the Night- from Phantom of the Opera).

Solon- I really couldnt see why you didnt make finals at Marysville last weekend. Your choreography was as good as ever and vocals seemed right on. I loved Let Me Entertain You as your opener also. And congrats to Jeremy for winning best Make soloist. You definately stepped up the sound of that song when you came on. Well deserved award there.

Homestead- I actually had you guys placed 1 place higher after prelims. I thought your vocals were the best sounding also going into finals. While your choreography didnt seem extremely difficult, you guys pulled it off almost flawlessly. I loved your Broadway theme. Great song selection for that, expecially when you did Coffee, Black/ Coffee Break. It was my favorite number of the day.

Teays Valley- Your set was definately my favorite of the day. Opening with two songs from Tarzan all the way to Renegade at the end was amazing. There were a couple people sticking out as the song went on and your opening soloist seemed fatigue when the song slowed down, but all in all, your energy was amazing. The scafolding thing in the closer seemed really dangerous, but after that thought wore off, it was really cool. If anyone hasnt seen their show yet, i recommend that you do.

Medina- Crazy energy in both performances. Vocals were awesome, choreography was crisp and your combo was off the chains! I seriously thought that your combo was the best of the day. I love that in-your-face way the combo comes at you. Your ballad was simply amazing. Such passion from all the sections and even more from the soloist over top of them. One of the best of the day. Closer choreography kept me watching til the very end, it was just so energetic. i dont know how you guys could still sing after all that. Also a must see show. Even though you guys didnt win vocals or choreography from Marysville, the results couldnt have been any closer (or maybe they should have). i didnt see you guys missing the GC by anything less than 4 points between both catagories.

Marysville- What can I say, you guys deserved this Grand Championship. Your combo kicked ass, choreography literally stunned me and your vocals in all the songs blew me away, especially in the ballad. As it said in your bio in the program, your musicianship, dance ability, and sense of responsibility definately showed through. Your energy blew the roof off the auditorium as well as your vocals. And i went paritially def for a little bit after your combo kicked it up during your flawless dance breaks. Congrats to all of you guys.

Even though the comp. got about 1hr 30min behind during the day, I stil had fun. The only thing is, I really thought that Poca was going to make finals. Their parents kept telling me when I wa ssitting next to them about how one of the judges the week before took off 25 point for some dance moves that seemed to seductive and even more points because one guy's hair was messy or didnt look good or something like that. I Didnt see anything wrong with their show at all and was really hoping to see them again. they have a really cool show this year and I love their ballad, it was my favorite. some of you might know it as Orphans of God. It was the first ballad of the day to actually give me chills. I wish they could have gone, i thought they deserved to. but it what the judges say that goes.
