Yes, I agree, they had a good show this year. Their performance at FAME was nothing like how they performed at Troy. The other groups brought their a-game and were consistent both times they performed. I'm not saying their set was bad, but I've seen them perform it better this year.

No lie, I was sorta kinda scared for Pleasant Hill at Rock Bridge because Nevada put on an absolutely stunning performance. But it ended well.

I'm sure Nevada did well. They are progressively getting better and better each year!

Wow. Way to go Pleasant Hill then! Nevada's show is FANTASTIC this year and for them to not make finals? I'm surprised. I for sure would have thought they would be in finals. Makes me appreciate P-Hill's win even more.

Yes, Nevada did attend. At this competition FAME did prelims and finals and took the top 4 groups that led in points. Edgewood, Pleasant Hill, Crete, and Albertville were the top 4, and since FAME only took the top 4 into finals Nevada didn't make it. (I heard that they were ranked 5th though.)

I had heard that they were going but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm? Ashley?

FAME was so much fun!

Pleasant Hill - I must say that your closer gave me chills. That was the best version of that closer I have seen since Petal did it in 2005. Congratulations on the win!

Crete Monee - Yall were so friendly to us! It was great to see your show. I hope we get to see yall again next year!

Edgewood - Just so yall know, I went home and downloaded your opener by the original artist. Yall were terrific! I want one of those pinstripe suits!

Circle - Wow! Yall have spirit! Thank you for the support you gave us and all the other choirs. Yall most definately deserved the FAME award!

This competition ended my show choir competition career. Next year will be the first time in 6 years that I actually get to see "CenterStage!" perform. I'm glad I got to end it at such a fun place with a bunch of other fantastic choirs. Congratulations to everyone for a great show!

Pleasant Hill's show this year is:
Opener-"Unwritten/Promise Of A New Day" by Natasha Bettingfield and Paula Abdul
2nd number-"Wherever We Go" by Newsboys
Ballad-"I Believe"
Girls Number-"Candyman" by Christina Aguilara
Closer-"Throw That Girl Around"

Crete:
I really didn't know that many name titles to the songs they performed.
I know their closer is "Musicology". It was pretty sweet. So was the guys number.

Where is "Circle" from?

**Correction: Circle High School is in Towanda, Kansas. Butler Community College was the group hosting from El Dorado, Kansas. Towanda and El Dorado are very close to each other but separate towns, both are about a 30 minute drive from Wichita.

I had SO much fun in Branson! Like Alli said, our group didn't really do so well, but we didn't really care either. We were just there to have fun and we did that along with making new friends. =)

Congrats to Pleasant Hill! I thought that everyone did an awesome job and had really great shows!

*Shout outs to my friends from Crete Monee and Albertville! It was so much fun meeting all of you this weekend! =D Hope you all got home safely!
