Single-Gender Champion: Center Grove "Debtones"

Varsity/Small Mixed Champion: Manteno "Magic"

Finalists (I think in performance order):

Pekin "Noteables"
Manteno "Magic"
Center Grove "Sound System"
Herscher "Class Act"
Sullivan "Sullivan Singers"
Crete-Monee "Cavaliers"

I don't have rankings, but I saw all the finalists in prelims and it's gotta be waaaaaaaay close between Sullivan and CG Sound System for 1st. It looked to me that Sullivan had a very very slightly cleaner show choreographically than CG, but CG sang a bit better than Sullivan. I'm told that CG Sound System was penalized in prelims for going long on time.

Anybody that can come should. I want to meet as many people as I can this weekend. Our auditorium is one of the best places to preform around. It's gonna be a blast!!

Who is judging?!?!

I may make the trip to see this competition. I'm still deciding.

It's between this lackluster competition line-up or Sauk Prairies. (that's really not meant to offend anyone.)

Why DID Jeff Gemar leave MTZ and go to this new place? What reasons?

Well there are two reason i think why he left:

1) His son graduated

2) Mt. Zion school dist. isn't really that good (money wise)/ or he got sick of going to a competition every single weekend!

I guess Chatham Glenwood pays well their. FYI, I overheard Jeff and Dwight talking about starting a show choir in Glenwood, IL. That when I offered my business card to Jeff Gemar

Contemporaires preforms at Noon on Saturday. Delegation preforms at 4, then awards follow. Neither one of us preforms after finalists...that's their time to shine.

I can't wait for this weekend, it's pretty much gonna be a blast. Good Luck to everyone and I'll see you Saturday!

Okay, thanks!
