You saw the FIRST performance of West's show... and you say you "haven't seen them perform to what its full potential is". Of course you haven't! It was the first performance. As for coming ahead of you guys at Mt. Zion, you personally may have not thought we should come ahead for whatever reason... but ALL of the judges thought differently.
Let's look at the scores...

Marty Demott-
WEST 8th (178)
MILTON Th (166)
Susan Moninger-
WEST 5th (198)
MILTON 9th (183.5)
Dave Fehr-
WEST 8th (181.5)
MILTON 12th (173.5)
Lara Moffet Menard-
WEST 7th (172)
MILTON 9th (165.5)
VOCALS-
WEST 7th (294)
MILTON 9th (277.5)
CHOREOGRAPHY-
WEST 7th (169)
MILTON 9th (160.5)
SHOW PRODUCTION-
WEST 8th (164.5)
MILTON 9th (158)
MUSIC-
WEST 6th (102)
MILTON 12th (92.5)

Wow, overreaction. People have their opinions, even if they have only seen D. Wests show once.

It concerns me that you put "practice" in quotes. Don't you do anything stupid...or, wait...

Well, I would make predictions, but I'm A] horrible at doing it, and B] don't want to jinx anything for anyone.

However, I'm really excited. I think it's going to be a pretty close race during both day and night shows.

Really? Whatcha thinking of doing, Cam? Or is it a secret?

It would be a secret.
but Im still not sure if I want to share my awesome skill

GCS is really coming on strong second half of the season. Linn-Mar has been really hit and miss so far. If they really stick it they even have a fairly realistic chance of knocking on the door of GC. I feel they would probably beat Milton 9 out of 10 performances this year because Milton's choreo is holding them back. Milton can really sing their butts off this year, though, which is semi-odd, because it's usually the other way around. We'll see how that all turns out. I was at Mt. Zion when DW came in ahead of Milton. I didn't agree with it then and I don't agree with it now. The show design that DW has I think is great, but I just haven't seen them perform to what its full potential is yet. Will they finally come out of their shell at Mo-Show?....who knows?! Craig will put up a good fight as they always do, but I just think it'll take another year or two before they can really make a splash.

Just trying to put some more perspective into things.

It also gets a bit old seeing Janesville Craig at the bottom of these lists. I know how hard they are working, and I have a good feeling there are going to be some surprised groups when they place higher than everyone thinks.

Yay Mo Show! I'm sad it's so much smaller this year because this is totally one of the most fun competitions in the midwest. I've been hooked ever since Matrix Ping-Pong 2004 Ok, predictions.

GC : GCS
1st runner-up : Linn-Mar / Milton
2nd runner-up: Milton / Linn-Mar
3rd runner-up: Davenport West
4th runner-up: Janesville Craig

Best Choreo - GCS
Best Vocals - Linn-Mar/GCS/Milton
Best Band - GCS

GCS Sweep. Yah, Prairie did beat them once, but obviously GCS has improved, since they just beat them but over 50 points. Also, GCS has yet to lose even a caption at Mo-Show, let alone not get Grand Champion. I have no doubt this year will be no different

QUICK knock on wood!!!! Im really excited to see how this competition turns out. It is gonna be a lot of fun!!!

hmmmm i'm still sad I won't be here for Mo-Show but oh well. here are my predictions:

GC: LaCrosse Central "Grand Central Station"
1RU: Linn-Mar "10th Street Edition"
2RU: Davenport West "West Connection"
3RU: Milton "Choralation"
4RU: Janesville Craig "Spotlighters"

GCS Sweep. Yah, Prairie did beat them once, but obviously GCS has improved, since they just beat them but over 50 points. Also, GCS has yet to lose even a caption at Mo-Show, let alone not get Grand Champion. I have no doubt this year will be no different

i don't care about any of the other groups so I didn't finish my predictions.... haha sorry.

If I remember right, it wasnt to big of a gap in point totals

Although, yes West did still beat us!

So what we're saying is...

battle royale.

I am really excited for Mo-Show. Although, disappointed, because we're stuck in the middle of West and GCS, so we won't get to see either of them perform. Hopefully finals will work itself out so I get to see both of them.

Whoo! I'm excited for this one. I haven't seen some of the groups that are going to be there and I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully I'm better by then so I can be on stage with the group instead of sitting winded in the audience. -.-
