wow, the love for perkins is amazing - as for the show choirs.....

Excited to see Linn-Mar and Milton finally..........heard plenty of good things about both groups. Here's where I see it:

GC: GCS
1RU: Linn-Mar
2RU: Dav. West
3RU: Milton
4RU: Janesville Craig
5RU: Linn-Mar Prep

I have no doubt that Linn-Mar prep will win the auditorium. They are always one of the best prep groups. Shall be a fun day of show choir indeed....

I agree completely with these.. i'd be very surprised if linn-mar's prep didnt win, i think theyve got it hands down. But i can't help wondering if maybe Linn-Mar's varsity might sneak up and beat GCS. " border="0" alt="shifty.gif" />

Random question, but do they all slam into the Perkins on Collins Road or do the Jeff kids go to the the SW side one? That is a ton of kids for one place...

I know the Xavier, Kennedy, and Linn-Mar kids have all ran into each other at the same time at the Collins Road Perkins; I'm sure Wash has been there too at some point... I would not want to work there

This will be a little bit on the odd side of a comment, but its something I really would like to know. For those actually performing at MoShow, how many of you plan to "go out" after the competition? After being in show choir myself for four years and also watching an additional six years when my brother was in Linn-Mar's 10th Street Edition, i know that most groups love nothing more than going out to Perkins after a competition. I never did this myself but I know plenty of people did. I am asking this since I am a third shift server at Perkins and its so much easier for us if we know how many people actually to expect rather than be unprepared and get SLAMMED. So how many people actually plan to go out afterwards?

Two Words:

Tremendous Twelve

I'll never understand what is with going to Perkins after show choir. I never did. Plus I think its a little cliche. Theres food at the competition, eat that, trust me its a hell of a lot cheaper. But we guess its because they just dont want to go home. But whatever. I'm calling in sick that day anyways.

Walking Taco- 2.50
Can of pop or bottle- 1.00-1.50
candy- 1

that is 4.50 and you'll spend that more then once (i know i do)

meal at perkins... like $7+tip
unlimted pop

and fills you up

Perkins is the way

and it is fun to socialize after

Are you kidding me... everyone is obsessed with Perkins in the CR area... you'd better be prepared. Washington AND Jefferson hold competitions on the same day! Linn Mar, Kennedy, Jefferson, and Washington will all be around hungry after the competition lights dim. They're animals. I think Mr. Anderson, Mr. Ziegler, or Damon Brown could vouch that they're students probably will eat all of your food.

I've watched this what seems to be a million times... but it's just so much more cool live.

I completely agree. That video doesen't do the solo justice. It sounds good on the video, but it sounded Uhmazing live at Great River. She does a very good job.

The thing I really can't wait for about this competition is Linn Mar's opening solo. That's the only bit of show choir I will need all day.
