Northernaires are the Show Choir from Eau Claire North High School. They are directed by Paul Gilbertson. Choreographed by students, I think. They usually compete at Winterfest but couldn't make it this year...Usually compete about once or twice a year. E.C. North is basically our across town rival when it comes to sports.

Any buzz on judges?

No actually they have a choreographer. Who knows who it is but the students dont choreograph themselves.

I know that Daniel Risgaard (Director from Logan) is judging this weekend, and I believe Esser (from Central) is as well.

That is correct.

Hey!
Anyone from Waconia? I'm one of your room hosts, and we were wondering if we could have a list of your songs, and possibly a roster of people in your group (including teachers, band members, crew members, etc?) That'd be really helpful so we can make your room awesome! Thanks!

I don't want to seem rude or anything, but why no EC memorial??
Just curious cause i've been at competitions where OASC has competed against some of these groups and got higher rankings, granted those don't matter at a new competitions....but i know after what happened at FAME Chicago, OASC is really looking forward to having a blast at their last comp.

my predictions

1st RU:Waconia Power Company

I'll admit... I didn't really know there was an Eau Claire North or that they had a show choir. Have they competed anywhere? What's there show? Past competitions? Director/Choreographer? Etc.

Fill me in! haha

I think they competed, or at least were present at, Memorial's Winterfest. (They may have been critique-only.)

Finalists Predictions:

Eau Claire
Holmen Girls
Holmen Mixed
Waconia
Chippewa Falls
Parkview

Results predictions:

GC: Eau Claire (BV, BB)
1RU: Waconia (BC)
2RU: Chippewa Falls
3RU: Holmen Mixed
4RU: Holmen Girls
5RU: Parkview

Maybe the girls can out do the mixed group again, but I think it REALLY depends on the judges. Waconia might give Eau Claire a run for their money, they kept on improving this year, from January - February, I wonder how great they'll be in April...I really like them this year.
