I'd like to think thats how it will go.

But, anything can happen, I just hope we can have a good performance.

I could see us and Fort getting switched around.

Good Luck to Everyone!! See you in 2 Days!

Brodhead's "In The Spotlight" has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 8th from 4ish to 9:30ish. It's going to be mostly the local crowd from what we know. The competing groups as of now are: Fort, Craig, Parkview, Madison East, and Milton (who were invited after the fact since they're so close to Brodhead). I'm sure a schedule will be available soon. Also, they are having 4 judges. Two of the three original judges, along with another that Mr. Calhoon is "on the trail of", and an instrumental judge. They will be handing out the standard trophies as well. Should still be a great, local competition. Afterall, there are a lot of very solid programs in the area.

Ben

I heard from my friend that now there were 10 groups performing (including Jr. High groups) and that they were starting at 5:30. Can anyone confirm this? That seems quite late to start a competition of 10 groups on a Thursday night.

Should be good competition.

Milton is really looking forward to this extra competition, as we are not going to Totino-Grace this weekend. This was my personal favorite for competitions, but the bus company won't take us because of bad road conditions.

Thanks for the invitation, and I look forward to next Thursday!

That's kinda neat. It's like a "conference championship" of sorts! :-P

Yes, but on a weeknight within the next two weeks. We are devastated not to be hosting; especially the seniors.

whoa. that sucks. I'm pretty sure Monona Grove won't go if it's on a weeknight. I don't know anything for sure, but we have practice tomorrow and I'll discuss it with our director.

i believe it was weather, seing as its well actually like a blizzard outside and its not snowing, its thundering and lightning and sleeting lol with 20-30 miles per hour winds, but yea the roads are horible around here, just drove from orfordville (parkview) which is like 7 miles away from brodhead to my house and it took me like 15 min and usually takes me 5 so im sure it was weather..i hope it gets rescheduled..

You could say it was a bit of both weather and lack of schools. There were only 3 or 4 schools that what have showed up...all the others didn't come becuase of the weather. so both played a role in the decision.
