I'm very proud of East this year. They are soo good this year. They were extremely happy to make finals too. All of the choirs did a great job. Garfeild was awesome! The soloest from Colerain for their ballad is amazing! He made me cry. Brush you guys were great especially for your size. I didn't get to see Edgewood but I heard you through the tvs in the cafeteria and I have to say your show is soo cool! Esprit was great. They always have great choreo and they perform it so well. Wish you guys could have been in finals! I love you guys! Gunnar you're my man!! LOL!

Southwestern ESPRIT came in one half a point behind East. The judge's sheets had some crazy deductions on them, but hey - that is the show choir world! At least we got home earlier and we had a lot of sick kids, so maybe everyone will recuperate! Hope to see many of you all at the Ohio Valley Showcase this coming weekend - we have a great competition planned!!!

aww that sucks...can't wait to see you guys at st. c...i never cease to be amazed at how you all do given your size

Yesterday was soo much fun! I'm so proud of Brush for finally making finals this year... and congrats to all of the other competitors, especially Garfield!

But man. We didn't get home til 5 am last night (this morning?) and we'd all been awake since 4 saturday morning... needless to say, I woke up around 2:30 today. But regardless, I had an amazing time! Thanks to Grove City for being such great hosts.

the scores were pretty close in the finals as well i think we were only six points behind garfield and some of that was due to the fact that the band had a concert the same day and much of our band was either missing or had someone new filling in it was a good time though.

i had a great time yesterday, it was definately a good competition, i think i would've had alot more fun if people would learn to have a little more class and show some better sportsmanship...
i was also greatly supprised not to see southwestern in the finals, that was definately a shock but good luck to all of the groups for the rest of the season!

I had sooo much fun today, and have much details to add about all the groups. But I'm exhausted, so I'll post again tomorrow!

Yeah, today was a lot of fun. I sure didn't predict the outcome of the lower groups. I new Colerain would be better, but they really really stepped it up. East High School was pretty cool with their country theme. It was nice to see Brush in finals as well. I though Marion Harding deserved a finals oppurtunity, but we know it's top 5 and not top 6 at Grove City.

We took home Class B First Runner Up, The People's Choice Award, Best Show Concept, and First Runner Up Overall.

Hehe thank you!

Sigh, my last competition of the year... and then just one more year to go! This is depressing. Though I'm still really excited for tomorrow!
