Mitchell will not be attending due to the new date! We are soo sad!! It falls on our dinner theatre set-up and rehearsal, and it was unable to be rescheduled. Good luck to all groups competing!! We will hopefully be back next year!
I heard it was postponed til the 24th of March, which is the same day as Grand Island was rescheduled to and I know Bishop Heelan is supposed to be at both. So we'll see which one they go to.
so im suppose to be on my way to sloan right now......but im not because it got rescheduled....for march 24th, and we will now not be able to go, becaues on march 24th my concert choir will be in new york....so i guess i can't complain that we are going to new york, but i am very dissapointed that we wont be able to go....and it is the seocond competition this year we have lost because of weather -- we now only have three competitions.

Well I live in Council Bluffs which is about an hour south of Sloan and we are not supposed to get that much more snow. It looks like it'll be a good competition - I could see some other groups in finals as well, including the Millard West Uptown Girls, LeMars, Omaha North, Hinton, etc. Good luck to all attending! I hope the weather cooperates better next weekend.
Aww this is everyone at Millard West's favorite competition! Seriously, winning GC at Westwood my sophomore and junior years was like the most exciting thing ever. And then we didn't go last year which was super sad. But everyone is soo nice and it's such a fun comp. Looks like the pretty standard lineup for Jubilation, but the only group I've seen this year is WIG so I can't really make any predictions. Have funnn everyone who is going!
