Today in my contemporary lit class a girl was giving a 'book talk' on a book by Meg Cabot. The main character in the book was in show choir, and it repeatedly talked about 'preparing for the upcoming Bishop Luers competition.'

Sorry, I know that's completely pointless ... I just got a kick out of it.

well i love you even though you are crazy.

I read that book because I knew it was about someone in show choir...it wasn't exactly sympathetic to those of us who enjoy it enough to, say post on SCC, though.

Now, I heard there was supposed to be a solo comp there last year, but it was cancelled due to lack of participants. Does anyone know what the deal will be this year?
