Okay sooooooooo..... I have to say that we were the underdogs coming into this competition. I personally think that we did a amazing job and had a really strong group at this competition. As far our show goes, dont ever down our show because we worked really hard and if it wasn't that good we wouldn't have been in the finals. Another thing poeple may place us by what they think and believe, but you they aren't getting paid to do it so it doesn't matter. A lot of negitivity is coming towards Danville because some people are just wrapped up in groups that they know and have connection with, but down everyone else. I had a awesome time and I think Sullivan is a wonderful competition.

Hey I didn't mean to offend you. I will say again that I think you diserve your finals spot! Great job to Danville as well as all other competing choirs!

I traveled to come see this competition and let me say I was sure not dissappointed! Heres what I thought of the groups who finaled:

Mt. Zion- I really enjoyed your guys show especially the ballad (I gotta admit it made me tear a little). As much I really liked you guys I do have to say that Im not sure you really diserved best vocals. Sorry! I mean it's not like you didn't sing (you did very well) but I think that troy outsang you guys. But you definatly were the best dancers there! A step down from last year but over all great job!

Edgewood- I also enjoyed your guy's show. I especially loved the opener (though I will say the costumes were kinda creepy...) I'm also a girl who LOVES ain't no other man so that was pretty much amazing! Keep it up!

Troy Express- OMG I LOVED YOUR SHOW!! I personally thought that it was a btwn you and EEE for champs(and with a prep goup like yours its no shock)! Personally you had the best vocals of the day! And the costumes..omg...to die for!! Choreo was real cool too! Only complanint: I missed the big troy BANG IN YOUR FACE opener but i can understand the song selection for it's vocals! REALLY enjoyed your show (my pick of the day!) and can't wait to see you this weekend.

Troy Soundwave- YOUR A PREP GROUP???? R U sure? Vocally, you were a little immature which is totally understandable because you still young! (vocals were GREAT for a prep group level. Esp. that ballad and girl's song soloist!) I would have you guys ranked like Marty Demont had with you above danville but still making finals as a prep group at sullivan...MAJOR props! I can see that the Troy program is really going places! Keep up the great work! P.s. I think I reconized those red leather jackets...lol!

EEE- Great job guys!! I enjoyed your show 100000x better than last year! The band was like omg..great and I love your opener and dance ensemble for WTTJ! Choreographically(i kno i just butchered that word) you were a little less than par but the show in general made up for it! Can't wait to see your show later on this year! Keep up the good work! PS-your red-head girl rox my sox!!!!!!!!

Danville- You guys deffinantly diserved your finals spot but i thought it was a little low on the entertainment scale. I had never seen you all before so you made a good first impression! Do me a favor though...take those costumes from your opener through them in a big pile and BURN THEM!!!!sorry but...
Over all my rankings would have been:

GC:Troy Express
1st RU:EEE/MTZ???
2nd RU:EEE/MTZ???
3rd RU: Edgewood
4th RU: Troy Prep
5th RU: Danville

Best Vocals: Troy Express

Best Choreo: MTZ

I had a great time at this comp and good luck to all these choirs at later comps!

Were there action photos taken at this competition? If so, is there a site for them?

I don't believe there were any action photos. There was video tape from Rutherford Photo Visuals

Ok this last post confuses me because in an earlier post...Danville was 3rd runner up before Edgewood...and now in this last post Edgewood is before Danville...I would like clarification please. Thanks.

BTW...congrats to ALL groups. No matter if there is "politics" or not I am sure the groups that placed high deserved what they got. Eisenhower and Mt. Zion are both warehouses..so I am sure they performed to the best of their caliber. Both groups are amazing..and shouldn't be told otherwise.

And I am shocked that an Alumni from Sullivan was so inconsiderate of another group especially when this was Sullivan's competition. I would have expected a little bit more from them considering it was an alumnus that posted it.

Hi, Gred Findell, also known as "Happygilmore" on here, im not sure who your are or where your actually from but we do know your not from Sullivan so please dont be negative!

We think everyone did an amazing job this weekend!!! And congradulations to all the groups! Thank you for comming to our compition and we hope to see you all again next year!

It's almost a for-sure win for Mt. Zion every year they go. The year that Prospect won, you could tell it was a complete shocker because everyone had the same look on their face, the "I dont know what just happened" face. But anyway, Great job everyone, hopefully next year, another powerhouse will come and knock off Mt. Zion.

\you got to also remeber that Sullivan loves Mt. Zion! It seem like every year that they go, if Clinton wasn't there, Mt. Zion wins........well expect in 2004 when Mt. Prospect won that year! But, it might be different, maybe they will be really go this weekend. But, I think that no matter what happens Mt. Zion will win this Competition! EEE will have to do a great job in prelim and an amazing job in Finals to even get a chance! Just like any other sport, Mt. Zion has home field advantage!

SEE I TOLD YOU!

Single-Gender Divison

GC with captions: Mt Zion "Les Femmes"
1st Runner Up: Edgewood "Sophisticated Ladies"
2nd Runner Up: Danville "Contemporaires"

what a predictable ending. seriously. From my understanding Danville and Edgewood are the only ones that were changed at all during finals, they just flip flopped from Danville 5th to 4th and Edgewood 4th to 5th. " border="0" alt="yeahrite.gif" /> *shrug*

From what I was told, before night show started, Edgewood was ahead of Danville in the day scores, but in the night scores, Danville placed ahead of Edgewood. Understand?

Eisenhower and Mt. Zion are both warehouses..

That would be Edgewood.

You must mean "powerhouse".
