Had a wonderful time hosting our "laid back" Invitational" today. Southport ladies and Maconaquah mixed were our "Grand Champions". Enjoyed meeting our new friends from Lakeview Michigan. Hope everyone enjoyed the day, topped off by our unique show based on Spamalot. This is truly a special year for us. Hope everyone got home safely. The weather turned really ugly after 8pm...We pushed to end our show early so everyone could get home safely. The Bellmont Ladies Ensemble may be performing at 5:00 instead of their actual scheduled time because our pianist is going to ISSMA State for a few of our soloists and may or may not make it back in time. If she doesn't make it back in time, they'll be performing at 5. =)

Everyone's performing in the theater. The entry fee is merely $6.
I don't know the costs for food, but we'll be serving concessions throughout the day. Dinner will be served from 4:30-6:30 PM. Popcorn, candy, and water only will allowed in the theater, but we still don't want a huge mess. So, try to be clean at least with your food. =)
At the top of my head I know that Garrett is coming. Obviously I know that Lakeview's coming. I believe Maconaquah [forgive me, if i spelled that wrong. lol.] is coming as well. [sorry for my lack of memory. lol.]
I'm sorry for there only being 6 groups- last year we had at least 18 or more. A lot of people dropped or were going to different competitions, so it was difficult for us this year.
Thanks for the groups who'll be there, good luck, hope you have fun watching the other groups and competing.

That is blasphamy, there can only be one Belmont competition on the 24th of February...I am pressing charges And all the money I recieve will be donated to a charitable organization of my choice...Anyway, thanks for notifying me...
First off, it is not called the Belmont Invitational, but the Show Shoppe Finale Concert, but it is on February 24th at the Massey Performing Arts Center at Belmont University. If you have any questions about it, text me at 804-855-7280, or you can meet me there, for I am a student at Belmont, and will definately be there all day. Thanks.
