First off, this was a really fun competition!
Im really sad that I didnt get to see Pike but everyone keeps saying they were really amazing =) My choir was in tears when we heard we got best female soloist in a show, and that we were womens finalists! That hasnt happened for awhile and I for one thought it wasnt our greatest preformance. Overall all of the choirs were really good but Chesterton and CG were a couple of my favorites. Also good job to Bishop Luers for having a really unpredictable show(in a good way of course!) and Grats to Twinsburg and the Debtones, you both really deserved it!!

Honestly, I am not shocked that Twinsburg beat CG. Yes, CG was amazing, like they always are, but Twinsburg was also amazing and I congratulate them on a well-deserved win.

I agree I saw both and thought it was pretty much a toss-up for grand champion.

Just a few things:::

* Thank you Norwell for putting on such a great competition....I continually had hosts coming up to me and asking if there was anything they could do for me. So thank you, it made a hectic evening enjoyable =)

* Pike...wow...you guys blew me ((and everyone sitting around me)) away!! You guys are freakin' amazing!! I loooved your show. First off...your ballad...o-m-g, i really can't say anything else except for that...me and the people around me kept rubbing our arms because we kept getting goosebumps....and secondly...the light up thumbs in the closer was brilliant! =) Sorry you guys didn't make finals...you were definetely deserving.

* Columbia City...I am so proud of everyone!! I love you all and way to stick with it...we definetely proved some people wrong. =)

* Twinsburg...I only got to see you on the TV because of our performance times...but I have to disagree with everyone who has posted so far. From what I saw...I thought your choreo was kick ____!! And everyone walking by the TV was like..."OMG! Who is that?!" SO yeah...you were amazing!

* Center Grove...your guys number was probably one of the best things I have ever witnessed!! And seriously...who can pull off "Sexy Back" ??.... Amazing!! =)

(FYI: I am not currently in any Pike show choirs, so do not take this opinion as part of those choirs. I am an alum of that school.)

NORWELL, THANK YOU for being such great hosts all day and night. You ran a very nice contest.

CG...What can anyone say, Everyone seemed genuinely shocked at the outcome, as well they should have been. All I can say is you were only beat by a set of Judges. This was the same set of Judges that put Lafayette Jeffs Girls group in 2nd when they had terrible pitch problems. Homestead's girls group clearly came in 2nd.

Maybe you should consider knocking out a second show for Judges that don't understand the complexity of your type of production. So, when you see who the Judges are at certain contests, youbring on your Dumb Up show and just stand and lift your arms, turn around occasionally, get in a huddle and let er rip!
Just a thought. As good as you guys are, I cannot imagine it taking very long for you to put together a show like that.

This sounds like I didn't like Twinsburg. Far from the truth. I thought they were awesome and clearly one of the best groups I have seen in a while. But, I didn't believe they were better than CG. Their show didn't have the variety, the degree of difficulty in dance or music, nor was it half as entertaining. They had a very good sound and I enjoyed their show as well as the other groups in the night show.

Good Luck to everyone the rest of the year. Night Moves....WOW! You guys are great this year. You will be hard to beat.

Wow this must have been some competition. Sorry I didn't get to see it. I just have to ask, where is LaFayette Jeff in the mixed night show? I was shocked to not see them there. I figure either they did not attend (which I thought odd since their girls were there) or something went wrong. What happened?

I havent ever posted on here, but I am so bummed for the kids at CG. You all were so GREAT! I can't believe you come in 2nd... your vocals were awesome and the choreography stuff you do is AMAZING!!!!! It was really dance, not JUST clean arms! I jumped up out of my seat at then end of the guys number and your closer... FREAKIN AMAZING!

Oh well, I love your show, and my friends and I were like whoa... there is no one that can touch them. And then this! It is how show choir is I guess. I love how you are all standing and are supportive of everyone, there a lot of groups that aren't like that at all and I think its what good sportsmanship is about. I get to go to Lawrence Central and my friend said you were going. I can't wait to see you again. The judges may not have been on your side, but the audience was!

Oh and congrats Chesterton too... you guys have really gotten a lot better!
-Lauren
