Holy cow dude! Have you ever thought of using a period?

There are actually 25 periods in the post Will made. Even still, I don't see the relevance your remark had to this topic.

The competition might have ran smoothly, but during our finals performance Garfield kids came into our homeroom and tore down all of our signs and names that were hanging up on our wall. Our host from Garfield told us it was members of 'Music Express', and also further told us that he was being given a hard time all day for being so nice to us. I don't know what Garfield's beef is with Euclid this year, but it's kind of upsetting. You guys might have ran a good competition, but you weren't very quiet about how much you disliked us. Even still however, we had a great time @ GHHS, and our night was not ruined by the trashing of our homeroom.

And just for the record it was never any Euclid kids who said anything about people not wanting to come back to the competition. It kind of seemed like you directed that post towards us.

Nobody will go back to Garfield? Are you insane? I wasn't there, but everybody I know loved it. Said it was the smoothest run competition they had ever attended.

thank you. in the two years that we have been doing this competition, we have never fallen behind in the schedule and have even gone ahead of schedule in some cases. all i heard all day was how nice the school looked and how big everything was (even though we moved into the school 3 years ago and the fine arts building isnt completed yet. lol). it was very good day in my opinion.

So you feel like you got shafted?...big deal. Who doesn't get the shaft at least once a year. It's subjective. It happens.

Suck it up. I'm sure you will GC at your next competition to prove the results wrong.

1. The fact that you had no comments on your score sheets is kind of ridiculous.
2. That girls number was one of the coolest thing I've ever seen a show choir do. I love how you guys embrace your diversity.

Why thank you. I'm glad you liked it!

However, while we don't have complaints about how we placed at Garfield because we know theres nothing else we could do, I find it very odd that our finals score sheets had no comments on them, just numbers. We thought by being placed last in finals, we'd at least have some in-put on what we did wrong, however, there are not any comments and I find that to be extremely peculiar...

And just for the record none of the judges found our girls' number to be controversial. They thought it was very cute, funny, and entertaining. In case any of you were wondering...

Hey, my name is Brittany and I'm a junior and first year singer/dancer in Euclid's Varsity Chorale (and proud of it! ) I would just like to thank everyone on here who's backing and supporting us. It really really means a lot. We re a really hardworking and dedicated group, and we're very proud of our style of show choir, though it may not alway win us GC, we wouldnt trade the way we are for the world because its who we are. It really means a lot that some of you recognize how much heart and energy and drive we put into Saturday nights performance, because we honestly did. Out of every musical or dance recieital or anything I've ever done, I don't think I've ever had as much fun as I did in our finals performance, I could just feel the energy on stage, and its the most amazing feeling ever.

However, while we don't have complaints about how we placed at Garfield because we know theres nothing else we could do, I find it very odd that our finals score sheets had no comments on them, just numbers. But congrats to everyone who placed Saturday night, especially my Solon loves, you guys are the best supporters ever. I HEART YOU! ;)

good luck to everyone!

I just wanted to thank everyone that has said nice things about our show.

I mean winning awards is icing on the cake but the real beef of it all is the performance aspect. I love performing, and the feeling I got at the end of our show on Saturday was unbelievable. I've never danced a show harder or shown more emotion on stage in my four years, and I'm so glad it happened during my senior year. After we did our show everyone just hugged eachother. We were beaming for the entire rest of the night. Everyone at Euclid feels this way, and while we were dissapointed with the results a little bit at first, we realized that being dissapointed was stupid of us, because we know we did the best we possibly could have done and just knowing that feels great. And the comments we got from spectators mean so much more then you can even imagine. I'm so glad people were entertained by our show, because really I feel that's what show choir is all about, fun and entertainment and sharing what you have with the world.

Watching finals was amazing, the lineup was so intense, every group had so much to offer.

Euclid - I'm so proud of our group, we really came together and bonded Saturday night. We all have so much love for eachother, and it's seriously making me the happiest kid alive, haha (as corny as that sounds).

Medina - I didn't get to see you guys during prelims or finals, but I heard nothing but great things. I can't wait for my finals DVD comes in so I can see you guys.

Poca - Awesome vocals, and the ballad was beautiful. I got chills when your soloist started floating.

Beavercreek - Big Man on Mulberry Street was awesome, it was so clever and the aura of the number was so cool. You guys sang and danced very well. This is my favorite Beavercreek show.

Twinsburg - You guys were solid. Vocals were good, dancing was intense and SO clean. Nancy Slife is a genius, her show designs are flawless. The ballad was my personal favorite, although I have to admit it is hard to pick a favorite with all the great songs in your show.

Solon - I love SOLON! You guys are so fun to watch, and this show is very clean. Your ballad was AWESOME, it's such a good arrangment of those two songs. Cold Hearted Snake was awesome, the girls have so much attitude in that number, it's great.

Garfield Heights was awesome as well. They put on a very fun competition. I can't wait to see everyone again @ Twinsburg .

weren't 2 judges added during the nighttime? at least that's what i heard. if anyone who thinks the moving down of Euclid was fishy, maybe it was because of the 2 judges. it hasn't been the first time where the new judges for the finals messed things up. it's all a matter of taste no matter what and it is subjective. but nonetheless, CONGRATS TO ALL!!

yes, two judges were added to the finals judging along with the other judges from prelims judging also. this same thing happened to us actually last year at Grove City. we were first going into finals and dropped to 3rd even though we had a much better show in finals and had much more energy. it was a judge that screwed up the scoring for us.
