The question isn't about the photo! We know the photo is of Linn Mar. We were referring to the video clips I found of Kennedy. Mystery solved.

Bingo. After looking back at it, I was pretty unclear about my point. I apologize!

It's a sweet auditorium though!

That is a picture of Linn Mar's Auditorium. Linn Mar uses the shell for different concerts. This could be just setting up for show choir before an upcoming concert, or it could be before Get in the Spirit. It could be a picture taken at anytime but going to Linn Mar and perfroming on that stage I know for sure that is Linn Mar's Auditorium.

Yes, that is the stage at Linn-Mar. What is confusing you is that in this photograph the acoustic shell, which has a wood grain look, is up. It is not for Supernova.

No, the actual floor in the videos was a wood-grain floor (hence not at Linn-Mar). Therefore, it is assumed to be at Kennedy. Because they had all of the costumes (and the novelty), I suggested that it might be their "Dessert Concert".

Edit: Typo

I'm pretty certain that is not Linn-Mar.

That is their stage, which isn't wood. Maybe they changed it or something though...

I think it is at the Dessert Concert that was held at Kennedy the Thursday before Linn-Mar (The night before the prep competition).

Well then I'm clueless, because it wasn't Milton... maybe it was just a rehearsal at Kennedy.

I want to know how the ride home was for Bemiji? Because we got home at 6:00 AM and you guys live farther north than us. What time did you guys get home?

Our drive home was quite long. we stopped at perkins (2 years in a row, happiness! lol) and then we left. I think we got home around 10:30. Yuck. Bus sleep pretty much sucks. But we had Martin Luther King day off so it was good.

Linn-Mar was a really cool compitition.
I really liked the walking taco. I had one for lunch and dinner.

Those yellow jackets that Happiness had were amazing. " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

I really liked Bemiji's sound and the female soloist who won "Best Female Solo" was really really good.

Anyway Linn-Mar was awesome and hope that we can go again next year.

For the record, I love those jackets and I wish I had one. They are so classic. I smile whenever I see one

HAHA! I love the signature.

They're great and all, and keep some wind off ya as you leave the nice warm bus to enter comps, but it's like a human GPS device... it's like BOOM! Be happy!

I'm glad I contribute to the smile on your face... you can thank members from the '80s for that. ;)

That was City High. The song is called "I Am Adolpho". And I agree, I think it's a riot!

"Rinaldo?"
"No!!"
"You are.... Mufasa!"

I die right about there.

agreed

Linn-Mar 2007 is the first show choir competition i have ever been to and it was great. thats right, i'm a newbie to the show choir world but i love it already. i cant wait for the next competition. i loved how everybody went down to the gym floor and started dancing. thats what show choir people do i guess.

Linn Mar does not sell DVD's of this competition, its sad, but that is they way they've always done it.
I think we should start an online protest and then give it to Mr. Anderson

I have a tape from the 2003 finals, but I guess that was the last time they had videos offered to the public. It wasn't very good quality - so in that regards we're not missing much. And I tend to prefer DVDs from later on in the season anyway, when more of the shows have settled and are in general better performed. Each and every one of these groups will be at a contest later on this season that will be recorded - so I guess we'll just have to wait... But on the flip side - what contest is going to have a finals line up like this one? Probably very few.
