Ok, so, first off. Ya'll need to chill! I say just let it go. Trust me it's not worth it!

Ok so next point! What were the songs that Dekalb did that required their million and a half costume changes in November? Also, what songs made Center Grove have to bring back their closer dresses and try to make them look good with the guys formal black suits?

ahem... WOOT

Addressing your DeKalb reference...

If it seemed as though DeKalb had quite a few costume changes, especially within one song, I would venture to say that the particular song performed was "Gotta Get a Gimmick" from their 2002 contest show.

My guess could be wrong too. DeKalb usually has 3 different looks within a show, particularly with the ladies. I say "looks" because sometimes there is not a complete costume change. For example, the 2006 season when the ladies had silver jackets over pink dresses and the gentlemen put on gold jackets over black shirts.

Hey Everyone:

While I admire the passion that each of you seem to have for the great and ever-changing art form known as "show choir" it is rather disappointing that some of you cannot seem to let go of something that happened well over a month ago. To clarify, the point spread in the pre-lims WAS extrememly close and the evening spread WAS far greater. However, it seems rather childish to diminish what any of the groups present that day accomplished. This change was the result of adding 3 more judges to the night show that were not there during the day. However, if one examines the scores closely, he or she would see that there still is a very solid consistency overall - with the exception of one judge - as you all know, it only takes one to throw the whole thing into a tailspin. MUCH like this conversation!

I am sure that in the future, while on here, each of us will be able to conduct ourselves with the utmost respect and courtesy. I am proud to say that I am affiliated with Anderson High School. It's too bad that many of us feel that they must remain anonymous - however, I understand there is a lot of bravery in anonymity. Also remember, if you live in a glass house, maybe you shouldn't be the first to throw stones.

That said. CONGRATS to Center Grove - your vocal sound was superb - I can tell that some really great work has been done there since last spring! Also, congrats to Dekalb, you folks are ALWAYS a pleasure to watch, hear and pal around with in the cafeteria!

Good luck to everyone in the upcoming season - I can't wait to see everyone's shows

Why is it that you think all Anderson people have bad attitudes? It's only two members! And... when it comes down to what happened earlier, I don't think that pointspreads should be allowed to be posted. It's not fair to any of the choirs. YES, Tyler did make a mistake; however, making a mistake is absolutely no reason to throw a fit. And what is so funny is that the people who like to call others out on mistakes like that aren't even the ones that were in the competition. Just get over it. I just wish people would drop it now.

Oh and if you're going to make an assumption and say that Anderson really needs to.. what was that?... "calm down", make sure you realize that it isn't the entire group. It's only two people. It is completely insulting to have someone say that about you just because of a misunderstanding from one or two members of your choir. And, I'll have you know, Anderson is one choir that everyone seems to like. We get along with almost everyone. So, please, don't write the rest of us off on someone else's misunderstanding.

Thanks. And CONGRATS to Center Grove and everyone who competed. It was a great competition.
Hope to see you all in other competitions.

True.. Very True..You tell em girl! I love you guys!

this is by far the most ridiculous thread i've had the misfortune of being involved with... I made one comment hoping to end the argument and it turned into 2 pages of complete BS

And why SHOULDN"T someone be able to be "unassociated"? if thats what they truly are.. then why should they claim a choir...

Jeena ... you make my life worth living. Like seriously. The fact that you're wearing that shirt and pushing your boobs up to the camera is amazing. I love you.

Tyler.

who would it matter if hes unassociated or not? thats dumb. anderson singers people really need to calm down your attitudes are unnecessary.

We didn't start the fire.
It was always burning since the world's been turning.
We didn't start the fire.
No we didn't light it but we tried to fight it.

Or something like that. Yea... that's how my mind works.

HAHA... omigod....

I guess my only point is that the yes, the person should have said he was with his own choir, or he should have said unassociated like i did... but it's not really anyone else's business if the administration finds out that he's lying... or shouldn't be anyway
