I didn't get to see DeKalb mixed, but I did get to see Twinsburg's show. It was, as always, amazing. The ballad gave me a million chills. I always thought that that would be a haunting ballad and man, did you guys do it justice! Congrats on the win and awesome job yesterday everyone!

what is Twinsburg's ballad this year? and what's their theme? it must be really good if they can beat out DeKalb.

unfortunately lehman did not get to watch any of the other show choirs perform since we went to watch our girls play in the state volley ball tournament (sorry for any hold up we caused for day time awards!) so i don't think i can make any commentary on "fairness" of judging...however, i would like to congratulate all the choirs that made finals, especially twinsberg who i hear got grand champion! (also i would like to say that your closer, "Wonder Why" was our closer my first year in show choir so obviously i love that song! haha)
i wish lehman could have stayed and watched the finals competition but hopefully we will get to watch you all perform at future competitions! congratulations again to everyone who performed

wow, not what i expected at all. it appears that Lehman didn't make finals...and even more scandalous, Twinsburg beat out DeKalb for the win!
could anyone that was there comment on the shows, fairness of placements or shed some light on the daytime awards? i'd love to hear what everyone has to say.

Here's the schedule as we received it last week. Although I guess Beavercreek won't be performing, don't know how that will affect the schedule.

10:00 Hamilton High School "Rhapsody in Blue"
10:30 Lehman Catholic "Lehman Limelighters"
11:00 DeKalb "Classic Connection"
11:30 Twinsburg "Great Expectations"

Lunch break

1:00 DeKalb "Sound Sensation"
1:30 Beavercreek "Friends"
2:00 Loveland Middle School "Revolution" (exhibition)

1/2 hour break

3:00 Wapakoneta "Singsation"
3:30 Riverdale "Soundsation"
4:00 Ada "Varsity Singers"

with this competition fast approaching, and with Central Crossing and Ada out of the way, would it be possible for anyone to post a schedule?

because that would be awesome!!

unfortunately, beavercreek has encountered some technical difficulties with our show that cannot be solved by november 12, and we have had to pull out of the competition.... we still will be going to support our fellow show choirs, however, and wish all of the groups there the best of luck!

findlay's going to ada. i'm pretty sure that twinsburg is returning though, and i've heard that dekalb will be going (a rumor given credence by a dekalb person starting this topic). as to any other groups that haven't already been mentioned, i don't know.

I don't think Glen Este/West Clermont is on the same day as Ada... i think it's like two weeks after it, so findlay could be going

I'm pretty sure it was:

Findlay
Twinsburg
Piqua
Beavercreek
Lehman Catholic

well, i forget the top slots...but Lehman was in finals, we had the last slot in finals. and i think that order is correct. i'm almost positive piqua was 3rd (2nd ru).
