With their trips to Cincinnati and Nashville earlier in the year, they simply weren't able to make any more trips this season. It's so hard for a group in Utah, where there is simply no competitive show choir to speak of, to compete each year. Every contest is tens of thousands of dollars for travel, hotel, food, etc.
ALA had a really great group and show this season....REALLY great! They will be hard at work and back at it next year
ALA has been removed from the above schedule. Agreed - it looks like they didn't attend. While they do have Los Al on their website schedule, ALA is not currently on the Xtravaganza schedule. Perhaps the two HOA competitions is all they're doing.
For some reason I was under the assumption that ALA was going to Los Alamitos' competition in a week.. Not Hart's. On their website it says that they'll be in attendance at the Los Alamitos Show Choir Invitational. It doesn't mention Hart Encore at all.
TREMENDOUS congrats to the people of Carlsbad Sound Express!!! You guys have come so far this year, and I'm incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Carlsbad Encore, also another great showing!!!
Mt Eden, wonderful start to your season in a really tough line-up! Your show is beautiful, and the fact that yesterday was the first time you've worked with instrumentalists....whoa.
