Just to give an update, our middle school division is now officially FULL. We do still have room for 2-3 more high schools. Early registration is closed, but you can still register through November 16 for $250.00.
Hello! My name is Roger Harper and I am the show choir director at South Harrison Middle and High School. We will be hosting our first ever show choir competition on February 20, 2016. This is a competition primarily designed for small and medium sized choirs, with the addition of an open division. South Harrison High School is located in Lost Creek, WV. It is a small town, class “A” school that is home to about four hundred students. We will be hosting our first ever event in our auditorium, which features a brand new, top of the line, wireless sound system (powered by Bose speakers), and brand new curtains. We will offer customizable riser configuration to fit your group, and our auditorium seats 350 people. We will be offering the following divisions –
Middle School Division
Class C – Choirs with 25 or less members
Class B – Choirs with 26 - 35 or less members
Class A – Schools with 1000 or less students
In addition to a champion, and runners up in each class, we will host a finals round with the top scoring high school groups of the day, regardless of division, participating. We will also be awarding best performer to each school, as well as several caption awards with the biggest trophies around! Registration is $200.00 if you register by September 21. Late registration will be held through November 16 at a price of $250.00. We hope to see all of you come out to South Harrison in February!
