Nearly had a heart attack because the visuals were down on the live feed!

Despite that, I'm very thankful that Albertville provided a live feed! You guys let me so my alma mater's first competition!

Will "CenterStage!" be giving an exhibition performance tonight?

I believe they will between finals and awards? don't quote me on that because I don't have the schedule in front of my right now

That was easily one of the best performances I've seen The Network give in my show choir career, and I've been at this for a while now. You guys did a PHENOMINAL job!!

The moment after the bows and before the walk-off was MAGICAL . I cry every time I hear Orphans of God and this time was no exception.

Now enough about you guys for a bit:

Good Luck to all choirs as we go into Prelims awards!!

I was very impressed by Enterprise. They had a very solid show, vocals were good, choreography was pretty clean, and facials were decent. If they pick up their energy they should do well at this competition.

Energy definitely felt good from the live feed, first time I've seen them in a couple of years and I was glad to see that they are as wonderful as ever!

Just had a new show idea. It starts like this....

[Music cue - dramatic drum roll]

SPEAKER 1: "Hi, I'm in a show choir in the South."

SPEAKER 2: "Oh okay, is your show about demons or Jesus this year?"

SPEAKER 1: "Hmm.... you know, it didn't really sound that weird until someone just said it out loud..."

[Music cue - "How Did We Get Here/Halloween" from RENT]

...

Oak Mountain's show...

So so so good.

Are you at Albertville, or watching it from the live feed?

Is anyone else having issues with the live feed? Like it won't play longer than two or three seconds for me before it has to buffer or whatever, and I've tried four different browsers.

UPDATE: Pretty sure it's my apartment's internet since I can watch it with my phone disconnected from Wifi, but not on my laptop connected via Ethernet cord.

(easy sweep)

No matter who you have in 1st, it will not be an "easy sweep." If it is even debatable who should win it, which this one still is considering not all of the Tallassee judges had Homewood behind Oak Mountain, then there is no way that there is an easy sweep here. Also, keep in mind that a sweep can be close. Wheaton swept here in 2014, but won by 11 points in finals.

I believe Enterprise has what it takes to make it to finals, despite not making finals last weekend....that will not stop them today!!

This will be an amazing competition to say the least. Oak Mountain is coming in hot off second place last week, but Homewood is definitely going to bring it this weekend. Will be interesting to see how it all turns out.

The middle school results are posted here: Diamond Classic (Day One). Lake Forest was really fantastic! The other choirs did well and the solo winners were great too! Good start to this competition.
