Three in prelims were the core judges, and they added five more in finals. Gene Davis, I believe was solo/finals, Claire Scroggins for choreography, and I'm don't have any educated guesses for the other ones.

I'm not entirely sure of what happened that would cause Oak Mountain to jump Homewood, and I saw both of them live. Not that Oak Mountain isn't a group to watch out for this year. It just doesn't seem to me like they should have beaten Homewood.

Does anyone have the results for small mixed? Also, I was told that (even though I'm not sure how much sense this makes) that a small mixed group was guaranteed a spot in finals? Can someone who knows confirm or deny that? Interesting day overall, a lot of good shows and concepts. Congrats to Auburn on the GC, and many thanks to the Tallassee parents and helpers. Always a fun venue!

Homewood and Albertville tied in finals and the tie was broken by vocal score.

It's tough to say who will win it all, but I think Homewood clearly deserves Best Vocals. Everything else is a toss-up.
