then why would you post everyone elses?

I thought that too. I was hoping to see everything in person for the first time, but then I saw all those URLs and I couldn't help myself oh well

I will NOT be posting Powerhouse's performance at Burbank Blast for another month or so as to not give away their set. Sorry!

It's great though. ;)

Thank you. I was hoping you wouldn't post it.

I really respect this decision... even though many of *us* know what they're doing, it's easy to forget that YouTube is a national medium. Much better for people at the national competitions to be seeing these groups for the first time LIVE (letalone a complete show with costumes, sets, and the full songs) than unfinished performance on YouTube from the beginning of the year. I feel the same way about all the groups at the Blast, to be honest... it kinda gives everything away without any of the context. As much as I know people are dying to see, it will be "out in the open" soon enough... and if you're in Cali, you can go see them in person. But for the sake of the national stage, I hope others respect this choice as well. CBS wouldn't air a dress rehearsal of the Grammys before the show aired; it would totally kill the anticipation for the real thing.

I thought you guys were very entertaing and lance from in sync came into sound vibes home room and was chatting w our host saying how you guys were good. So I guess that means very good things for you guys . Also I noticed you had a good number of guys but not that many girls? which puzzled me. Or am I wrong? At hart we have the problem of no guys joining choir.

No we have an even number of boys and girls in our advanced mixed group and about twenty more boys in Xtreme, as well as two other girls groups. Although a few girls had to leave the stage for our opener for their solos.

Hart's riser setup was really innovative even for them, and so was the choreography.

DUDE. I was really confused when I first saw both of the riser set ups for Hart. I kept saying "I'm so confused about Hart's riser set up". But once I saw their sets on them, I thought they were great. It was unique and allowed for different formations that you don't usually get with a normal riser set up. So then the riser set up became awesome to me. =D

In Sync was amazing and pretty clean too. The theme was like a mix between 1984 and Player Piano, two of my favorite dystopic novels.
Burroughs sound was great and I can't wait until I get to see the full effect.
Hart's riser setup was really innovative even for them, and so was the choreography.
I'm not feeling the "Twilight" theme for Chula Vista but the performance was great.
I didn't see Carlsbad and I was depressed about that.
What are your opinions about Los Al, everyone?

What a great way to kick off the competition season! Great job to everybody who performed! I'm so pumped for the next few months!
