I was told that it shouldn't be hard to get tickets at the door. Supposedly, they have never sold out.

Alright, thank you!

How hard is it going to be to get tickets? Because since vocal point as a whole might not be able to make it because of the buses in the snow, I'd really like to go still. :/

Hey Justin, have I mentioned how bummed I am?!

I'm so beyond excited for Burbank Blast! :]

I wont be able to get there until 3pm though. Anyone know when the advanced mixed division is? It's usually last so I'm not too worried since it says the event lasts 'til midnight. Or, do they even go in order since it's not a comp? I just don't wanna miss anyone! :D

Thanks!

actually, the performances aren't by division. it is in a random order, and performances end at 8 p.m.!

I'm pretty sure it's separated by divisions, but I don't think choirs perform that late. In the past there has been a dinner and dance after the choirs perform, so that's probably what goes until midnight. Hopefully someone will post a schedule soon seeing as it's only days away!

Ah yes, I definitely forgot about the dance. Haha, those are fun. Well I hope the performances go past 3 at least... As an alum, am I allowed to go to the dance? Or must I be sneaky? ;)

ah! This psycho storm is annoying. As of now, Vocal Point is supposed to be there. But if the weather keeps up, we'll be snowed in

Yeah the choirs pay for a meal after wards and if they want to stay for the dance they can :D

Haha, you know the west coast doesn't have finals.

This isn't even a competition, it's basically a showcase of all of the groups for the coming year. Our first competition isn't until the 29th, so we get started a bit later than the midwest does (though we compete until the end of April). Expect to see rough/incomplete performances still undergoing major revisions, but a great, non-competitive social attitude. It's a good event in a smaller theater (which usually translates into better acoustics). Very enjoyable.

I'm pretty excited... will SOMEONE please give me a little bit of a rundown of how this works...

Sweetness. what about times/what time should I plan to get there at? I'm going to attempt to do everything in my power to go. So just look for the girl most likely wearing cat ears. haha. =D
