Another great competition on this second week of the season!

Predictions
GC- Johnston (BC)
1RU- Valley (BV)
2RU- Millard West
3RU- Urbandale (BB)
4RU- Sioux City East
5RU- Valley Prep

I feel like this will be another close one when it comes to the top four. When it comes down to it I feel like Johnston will just barely beat out Valley on more of the complete package. Urbandale has had consistent success with their band so I don't expect that to change. Best of luck to everyone competing! I'll definitely be keeping up while waiting for awards down in Kansas City!

1RU - Valley "Choralation"
2RU - Urbandale "Studio"
3RU - Millard West "West in the Groove"
4RU - Sioux City East "Headliners"
5RU - Millard West "Uptown Girls"

This seems to be the general consensus. I would be very surprised to see Grand Champion and 1RU go differently. Valley could easily snatch a caption from them, though I'm not sure which. I wasn't too sure about WIG or Urbandale, but based on the past I put Studio ahead. Uptown Girls is phenomenal, so I'm fairly confident they'll final. Excited to (hopefully) drive down to see this competition. Best of luck to everyone competing, it'll for sure be an intense competition.

This is my first prediction so this is a warning
GC: Johnston (BC/BV)
1st RU: Valley (BB)
2nd RU: Urbandale
3rd RU: Millard West
4th RU: SC East
5th RU: Either Valley's prep group or MWUTG
I think it will be pretty close between Urbandale and WIG, it could really go either way. I'm extremely excited

Early, guaranteed to be wrong predictions!

GC - Valley
1RU - Johnston
2RU - Millard West
3RU - Urbandale
4RU - Sioux City
5RU - Johnston/Valley Prep

I have heard rumblings about Valley having a very good show this year, and after last years amazing run I will be really curious to see Johnston as well. I feel safe (not really) saying those two will duke it out for the top spot. Millard West seems like a very strong group, but I'm not sure if they stack up against Iowa's best. Urbandale is supposedly doing one of their more traditional shows, which is sure to be good. I could easily see them gunning for one of those the top 3 spots come Finals time! All in all, this competition is sure to be a good one!
