Ok, logic...didn't get that at first...so were points converted to ranks? I just don't get how you tie ranks, haha

Yeah it was a point system converted to rankings, I just thought I would post both! Sorry for confusion

I'm assuming you're questioning how the ranks can be like that? If so, my best guess is that a judge had Jefferson and Onalaska tied for second behind Sauk Prairie and instead of doing a tiebreaker for that individual judge's scores, they just let it be, forcing Holmen to have a 4 rank.

That's only a guess though, it definitely could have happened some other way, or I could've completely misinterpreted your message and you were confused about something entirely different

I think what's very strange is there are six 2's and only four 3's given...was it copied down wrong? or a judge give out two 2's?

Random performance order got changed due to prep groups being by the open class group from that school

YEP! The order I posted is correct, but I wrote that it was drawn randomly to defer any confusion of the order based on points.

Live stream? I would love to be there but I have other plans, if there isn't a live stream I would LOVE to see one in the future!

Definitely rooting for my alma mater here, but Onalaska is very solid this year. I think the battle for best vocals will be especially interesting! Good luck to all groups!

I'll take a shot at predictions as well....

GC: CR Jefferson (BV)
1RU: Onalaska (BC)
2RU: Holmen (BB)
3RU: Sauk Prairie
4RU: Chi-Hi
5RU: Onalaska Prep

Definitely think this is gonna be a close one between the top two. I really like Jefferson's vocals this year and they were very close to winning BV at Prairie earlier in the year. I could obviously see Onalaska and Jeff switch and them taking BV instead but I think everything else is pretty set in my mind. Good luck to all groups competing, especially Jefferson! Represent Cedar Rapids and Iowa well!
