Yep no worries! I saw someone right above post it as well saying "Fairfield Middle School got Best Band". Those kids were great! Congrats to that program as well for everyone placing so well! Can't wait to see you guys again in Nashville!

Oh, I understood. Of course, some people just read responses and glance over the summary at the top of each page. Surely you understand that?

That was in reply to the band caption comment.

Edit is not working so let's try this.

I am pretty sure it's a Firefox thing... editing works fine in Safari and on my iPhone (which is also Safari, but I digress...)

It's been that way for awhile and I have no idea what the problem is. I'm not trying to force browsers on anyone, just giving you a workaround that I know fixes it. I'm not sure how Chrome handles it (apparently Chrome likes to underline posts, though), so that could be another option. Sorry for the difficulty.

Rhythm's show is "School of Rock". Sorry for the typo above. From what I understand, there was a 5 point spread between groups 2 and 4 after daytime and Pure Elegance was in 6th giving Fairfield 3 of the top 6 groups.

Congrats to Wheaton and all of the competing groups!

Well first off, two huge congrats to Fairfield Middle for making finals (incredible, but not unexpected, you guys are fantastic) and to Wheaton North. Never again will I doubt your ability! My choir will be at Heart of America Nashville and so will Troy and Fairfield, and after this, I can say I honestly have no idea what the results will be.....

Crete's middle school division is strictly 6th-8th grade and Rhythm Express is made up of 7th, 8th, and 9th graders.

Ah, that does make a pronounced difference in the middle school divisions... it's still very impressive to compete against groups of 9th-12th graders though and do as well as they have. As for how a group "skips," I don't think there should ever be an issue with a group moving UP into a more challenging division. Going down can be problematic if you clearly outclass the other groups and put them in an unfair position, but any group should be able to compete at as high a level as they want... that's how I feel, anyway.
